    I've just wired in some new pickups and having an issue with buzz. The pickups are a fender 63 precision and a custom shop Jazz. When i first wired them in they were out of phase when hooked up as per the schematic so i reversed the wires on one pick up. Ok so now they're in phase but the Jazz pickup that i reversed had a horrible buzz when you touch the pole pieces. I swap the wires back and flip the wires on the p bass pick up. Now the Jazz pickup is fine but the p pickup is buzzing. Basically which ever pick up i flip gets a buzz. If i leave em wired as per the schematic they're out of phase. it's bad enough to render the pickups un-useable so hoping some one can help

    This bass had the headstock knocked off and was repaired by Chris Mcintyre of Mcintyre guitars. Chris is a very reputable luthier and does the guitar work for many of London's pro players. He assures me the repair is stronger than the original join. Chris also added a matt finish to the back of the neck so it doesn't get all sticky and nasty. He moved the strap button from the heel to the top horn which he reinforced to take the weight, balance is now much better. He removed the Epiphone label and signature which suits me coz i don't want some other dude's name on my bass. There is also an original fitted Epiphone hard case This bass sounds great and looks gorgeous. What more could you want.... Bass is in south east London.     Hey folks I've just installed a pair of Eminence BASSLITE S2010 8ohm 10 NEO 150watt into an old peavey TX2010 cab The old cab was great but one of the drivers finally packed in after getting on for 20yrs of abuse. i decided rather than replace one driver i'd go for a pair of these new fangled neo whatchamacallits. Took the cab to a little bar gig i had last week. Talk about disappointing. These things had no guts and were breaking up at very low volume. Checked em they're both working and in phase. Am i missing something. Are these drivers in some way unsuitable?

    i have a Acoustic image contra 2 about 4 yrs old with an acoustic image carry case. In good condition except the little metal tilt pin has broken off, which is really a good thing as it defeats the whole object of this amazing little combo. I'm not doing enough double bass gigs to justify having this thing around and need something for little electric bass gigs. looking for a Mark Mini CMD 121P or something similar with cash adjustment either way.
