Many thanks chaps,the fleabass is the modulus one flea used when playing slane etc an excellent piece of kit and simple as heck,ill go with a chorus and compressor and a couple more,i dont want to complicate things too much!

Great forum,ive always played without effects for years,i play in a Rory Gallagher tribute band and also do classiic rock covers but i aquired a few pedals,compressor,ashdown overdrive,phaser etc,was wondering do i need anything else? I use a modulus flea bass ,swr equipment and tc electronic stuff for my backline,im a big fan of "less is more"! But i think i need to expand my sounds a wee bit.

Hi all
This may sound really stupid but i have a swr 6x10 gathering dust (been trying to sell it for ages ),but im trying to downsize i really like the sound of the swr speakers so i thought id cut it down to 4x10 and remaining two speakers i have a 2x10 cab for them? Is it possible?

ive just bought an swr 4x8 off gumtree to pair my sm500 i got it yesterday £150 the guy only lived 30miles away

an update on my bh500,after my tc 2x10 cab blew at practice,i was suspicious that the amp was fine and hooked it up to my goliath snr 6x10 cab and guess what?,the amp worked fine!in fact,the bh500 sounds really good through the bigger cab than the tc 2x10 maybe ive got a faulty tc cab(i only have it 2 mths)but the bh500 should have made a good combination with its own cab i dont know,,of course the swr cab is 4ohms which may be the reason,by the way the bh500 sounds really good!
