thinking of downsizing rig,as its to big for small gigs, and to bloody heavy, anyone tried the new ampeg svt micro? what do you think? or whats the best combo on the market ? Hope this thread is in the right place as im a newbie and not used to posting yet.

Hi i am new to the forum, after being an avid reader and guest for months,eventually joined tonight.thought i would introduce my self. My name is Dave and i live in the north east of england,sunderland to be precise,i am getting on a bit but still love my music , mostly rock,have been playing since fifteen about 34 years ago ,when i got my first bass as a christmas present and formed a band at school,havent played for the last four years ,but have now dug my basses out and have started playing again with some old friends, purely for fun.and am loving every minute of it. forgot to list my equipment. guitars ernie ball stingray 3eq, red maple neck circa 2000 fender precision, black, maple neck,circa 2004 guild sb,had it for years dont know how old. amp,ampeg svt av sounds great but great for giving hernias due to weight. cabs,ebs proline 4x10. ebs proline 1x15.
