1.
Have you spoken to many "man in the street" Brits?

They go out on Saturday night in weird clothes to get drunk and fight with knives and get pregnant, buy the Sun, and the News of the World, and Hello magazine.
They watch Big Brother, neighbours and Coronation Street, think a tricked up Saxo is the world's best thing, are planning to go and live in Spain 'cos this country has been ruined by immigration, thought George W Bush was right to invade Iraq to fight terrorism (I know, I had a "War is not the answer" sticker on my car. White Van Man was very vocal about it, before the lack of exit plan and loads of Brits coming home in body bags... )

Brits may have been to Europe on holiday but that's about as far as halfway across one state in the US, and when they get there they get drunk for 2 weeks and shout at teh indigenous population in English.

Yup, Brits are weird, even bass playing Brits, and about 50% of US people are perfectly normal, even Talkbass members.
+1

You can tell the same about all nation. Everywhere you can find twats and nice people.

4. we played yesterday in 10FeetTall in Cardff, new venue, nice stage, good soundsystem, but drums were really loud so we had play guitars and drums louder that is why i think it sounded too loud. we thought we will be playing about 9.30 10ish while we started 11.30. our guitarist was already quite drunk so it did not went well. now im just angry and want to practice more.
cheers

5. hi! i have at the moment fender bassman 250/115 which is already smaller that many rigs but due to not having the car im thinking about downsizing it. most of gigs we play dont need huge amp as they are small or the sound is going through PA. i was thinki is there somethng like fender deluxe combo but for the bass basically i have my tone from PD7+sansamp. was thinking about getting some small 2x10 or 1x12. i have crate powerblock which i could use for while, and then get LMII for example.
dont have much funds but i could swop sell :
-sansamp programmable
-fender basssman 250/115
what you guys thinking? it doesn't need to be very light but very small. would prefer some vintage look too.
cheers!
