  1. Just for home pratice and play some gigs in the future, but for now just home practice.I can buy the rumble 40 s/h.

I have been listening the rumble and for 15 watts seems fine.I Guess I Will keep it.

  2. I’ve bought today  a Yamaha mint  bb200 bass for 150€(the seller was asking 180€).I would like to get  some feedback. This is a bass from 1990/94 and it is descontinued now. What was the original price? Is it an entry level or intermediate bass?

  3. Thank you, it makes sense.Yes, for now the most important is to practice and learn, The Fender is fine for that, I have time in a year or two to buy another bass amp.I liked the Orange, but for now I just want to play and have fun.I have all the information I nedeed, after reading all of your posts! Thank you to all!

However, there is something far more important for you to consider. No 30 watt amp will be adequate for rock and heavy metal, once you add a drummer to the mix. Please don't waste your money buying small, low powered practice combos and hoping they will serve your purpose. They won't.

    And an Orange 50 watts?

  5. I went to a musicshop to buy a bass amplifier and the seller advice me the Fender Rumble 15 or 25. He told me that the Fender had more attack that the Orange and the sound was more pure!I bought the Fender based on his advice but another day I went in the shop again  and asked to hear the Orange. I really liked the sound, but for me the bass lines had a bit coloration, the sound is not so pure! But I like it, it´s a good bass amplifier. What can you tell me about the Orange bass amplifiers compared to Fender?Yes, I know, now I´ve got the Fender and I can´t send it back, but in the future who knows if I would buy a Orange Crush 25 watts just for fun?It is a more modern sound, the Fender is more classic, if you know what I mean!

EBS  It does seem to be favoured by those who prefer a brighter sound. I had an EBS 350. It was powerful, reliable, well made and happy to drive a 2 ohm load. I sold it and bought an Aquilar because I found it a bit in yer face, no matter what I did with the eq and I prefer a more old school sound. If you like a more modern sound, they're excellent. Do try before buying, as always.

Yes, EBS is a bit bright, I’ve played once an EBS and is a bit forward and bright.

  7. I have a Roland 20 watts xl cube bass amp. I have the chance to buy an EBS 60 watts amp with a discount for 124€!The idea was to have the Roland in the living room and the EBS in another room. What can you tell me about EBS bass amps? A friend that works on music told me that he knew Ampeg and Fender amplifiers, but not EBS.Is it the EBS as good as the Roland?

  8. I’m looking after a cheap bass.I saw today a Yamaha 174 TRBX and an Ibanez gio SR180.The Yamaha costs 240€ and the Ibanez 175€.I’ve tryed the Ibanez and I liked it. However it seems the Ibanez SR200 is the real deal, but here costs 128€.What you think? For 175€, the Ibanez sr180 seems great.
