Hi, I would like to get your advice about the best bass I can buy . The SX is 240€ and the HB 153€, both body are made of american ash , I guess the main difference are the pickups.The SX is the bass to buy or HB is better, despite the lower price? Regards

Hi, I have a Fender Rumble 15 watts combo(bass amp), I wonder if an Ampeg rb 108 is a worthwhile upgrade or is it a side move.The rb 110 has 50 watts, but is expensiver.

Well, I have bought the Ibanez SR300 after a short demo. Is ok, but beeing active is a bit weird for me, all the basses I had before were passive.

A guy on You Tube seems not like all the features of this bass, he says he would like less features but better ones.

I have been reading on the Net that Orange amplifiers are best for hard rock and heavy metal. Is it right?

BTW, I send the EBS 30 watts back to the shop, I could do this, but the shop where I bought the Fender doesn´t accept it back!

I went to a musicshop to buy a bass amplifier and the seller advice me the Fender Rumble 15 or 25. He told me that the Fender had more attack that the Orange and the sound was more pure!I bought the Fender based on his advice but another day I went in the shop again and asked to hear the Orange. I really liked the sound, but for me the bass lines had a bit coloration, the sound is not so pure!But I like it, it´s a good bass amplifier.What can you tell me about the Orange bass amplifiers compared to Fender?Yes, I know, now I´ve got the Fender and I can´t send it back, but in the future who knows if I would buy a Orange Crush 25 watts just for fun?It is a more modern sound, the Fender is more classic, if you know what I mean!

Well, I bought the EBS 30 watts.The 60 watts was too big for what I want.

And between the EBS 30 watts vs the 60 watts? Anyone tried both? I guess the 60 watts is much better, or am I wrong?

Yes, EBS is a bit bright, I’ve played once an EBS and is a bit forward and bright.

I have a Roland 20 watts xl cube bass amp. I have the chance to buy an EBS 60 watts amp with a discount for 124€!The idea was to have the Roland in the living room and the EBS in another room.What can you tell me about EBS bass amps? A friend that works on music told me that he knew Ampeg and Fender amplifiers, but not EBS.Is it the EBS as good as the Roland?

I’m looking after a cheap bass.I saw today a Yamaha 174 TRBX and an Ibanez gio SR180.The Yamaha costs 240€ and the Ibanez 175€.I’ve tryed the Ibanez and I liked it. However it seems the Ibanez SR200 is the real deal, but here costs 128€.What you think? For 175€, the Ibanez sr180 seems great.
