1.
Behold! The VM range: http://www.squierguitars.com/products/sear...emodifiedseries And the Classic Vibe series: http://www.squierguitars.com/products/sear...assicvibeseries P and J in each range, but they're just... different. No "better" or "worse". If you're coming from guitar, you might be more comfortable with the Jazz neck: slimmer all round than the P, with a tighter string spacing down by the nut.
thanks, is there much difference in sound between the p and jazz
 2. just wondering which is the best for the price and if the standard is sub par to the vintage and classic?
 3.
Well, i can vouch for the Squier Vintage Modified, because i have one. A fretless - its bloody amazing for the price. I picked up an unmarked, ' never left the house or seen a gig ' sample in Sunbursty for £150.
150? your very lucky then is the vintage modidfied better than the classic? do both come in pbass and jazz?
 4.
Any reason? The Vintage Modified and Classic Vibe ranges are well-respected instruments, with quite a few people preferring them over "genuine" MIM or MIA Fenders.
When i said not squire i meant the affinity range, i need a quality instrument that will last me, i will take a look into the vintage and classic thanks
 5. iv been playing guitar for 3 years now, but im getting bored of it and want play bass, i dont want to spend over 200 pounds and i dont want a "first bass" because ino they fall apart after a while, i need a bass that will withstand gigging and have a good sound. is the vintage v4 any good???? ino they make good guitars just wondering about bass if not any other suggestions for guitars, preferably NOT squire thanks
