1. Purchased new at the end of March this year so it has almost all the warranty period complete.
Hand picked for his low weight and its lovely grain.
As any newer Metro model comes fifted with the VTC and 1/2" US Hipshot Tuners, far better looking an operation imho than the pre-2011 models with the 3/8" Hipshot ultra lights.
Also features the new Metro system with recessed ferrules in the body at the neck joint instead of the formerly fenderish neck plate. This is a HUGE improvement over the older Metro basses.

Condition is 9,9 over 10, just a light swirl marks on the pickguard. Always at home and handle with extreme care.
Action is extremely low and a joy to play. Comes with the Sadowsky case in mint condition, documents and tools.

You know how terrific sound these basses but this one is absolutely insane!

After purchased it was sent to a local luthier to place blocks vinyl markers over the dots.
Easy removable if you wish but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't do that, judge yourself how it looks this way:

Please any proposal through private message.
    Cheers!

Nice. What happened to the thumb rest?

    Thanks for the compliment.
Nothing happens with the thumbrest, I don't like it aesthetically so it's on the pocket of the hardcase ready to put back in place in 5 seconds. ;)

Lindy Fralin Split Coil Pickup For Fender '51 P Bass

Lindy's ingenious split coil design for the '51 Precision Bass features two side by side RW/RP (reverse wound/reverse magnetic polarity) coils. You get all of the primitive thump and presence of a a vintage single coil early Precision Bass pickup without the hum and noise. Fine choice for studio or stage work. Drops right into your old '51-'57 Precision Bass, '68-'69 Telecaster Bass, Custom Shop '56 Precision Bass reissue, recent Sting Bass or brand new Fender Of Japan '51 Precision Bass reissue! Simple single hot conductor/one ground output wiring; the hot lead is white, the ground is black. No tricky rewiring or lousy sounding active electronics are needed to produce robust output and great tone with low noise. Lindy tells me that he thinks this pickup sounds so good that it may make multi pickup basses obsolete! Other construction features of the Fralin Split Coil '51 Precision Bass Pickup include Alnico V magnets, black fibreboard coil forms, white waxed string wrap around the coils and cloth covered output leads. Stock wind is 6.5K.

Could you tell me what the CS-options are on this bass? Is it masterbuilt?

    Thx.
I ordered the Sonic Blue finish, the handwound pickups, the vintage white pickguard and the flatwound strings.
I'm pretty sure is a Teambuilt so a Masterbuilt goes for almost 6k + taxes these days.
    Thanks.
