  2. Hello there.

I live in the Knowle/Totterdown area of Bristol.

    Wikipedia says this

"It was available in the Fender pricelist as part of the Deluxe Series line"

In July 2005, Fender introduced its first 24-fret bass since the Fender Performer Bass, the Fender Jazz Bass 24 [1]. The Jazz Bass 24 featured a sleek alder body, a 34"-scale length, modern “C” shaped maple neck with a two-octave rosewood fingerboard, abalone dot inlays, 24 medium-jumbo frets, Hipshot licensed tuners, Fender/Gotoh High Mass top-loading bridge, two custom-wound Basslines pickups, a passive/active push/pull volume knob and a 3-band active EQ with a "slap" mid-scoop switch. It was available in the Fender pricelist as part of the Deluxe Series line, with Cherry Sunburst (discontinued as of 2007) and Tobacco Sunburst finishes over a quilted maple top and chrome-plated hardware. The 5-string version [2] has been introduced in 2007.

In 2008, Fender offered both the four- and five-string versions of the 24-fret Jazz Bass in a stealthy Flat Black finish (with matching headstocks and hardware). These two-octave Jazz Basses were gone from the Fender pricelist as of 2009.

Fender Jazz Bass 24 were made in Korea.

    This chap likes them too.

  3. Hello there

I imported it from the U.S.A with the prime intention of learning how to slap and pop but I failed owning to lack of commitment and talent. It sounds and plays like a dream and looks great with only a slight mark by the bridge and the top of the headstock , nothing bad at all.
I don't know the exact date of production but they were made between july 2005 and nov 2008.
    serial number=311525604
    Hard case included
    Postage included

There are more details and reviews here.

  4. Hello there.

£250 not £280 ( I don't know how to change the initial price)

Here is a lovely guitar that I bought at the beginning of this year in order to investigate the five string world but I have sadly realised that it is one string too many.
I had it set up and serviced and strung with Rotosound swing bass SM665 40,60,80,100,125
It has very slight marks on the back by the through string holes but that is me being picky.

Sounds fab but is not for me.

Here are specs from the web :

    Construction: Bolt-on
    Body: Alder w/ Figured Maple
    Neck: Maple
    Fingerboard: Rosewood
    Frets: 21 Jumbo
    Scale: 35 in.
Bridge: Hipshot 'A' w/ Thru Body Option
    Tuners: Grover
    Hardware: Chrome
    Pickups: EMG 40P5 Active
    Finishes: Dark Vintage Sunburst (Tobacco?)
    Made in Korea

    Gator case included

Serial number starts 03 so I think that means it was built in 2003

Pick up preferred from Bristol or meet up within a reasonable radius.

Can be posted too of course for £15

    Cheers

    Phil
