Selling these simply because I fancy a crack at double bass, and at fair prices I think, so not really open to offers.

I have had the Ibanez for sale on here before but it is now £100 cheaper. I am unwilling to drop the price further as it is a quality instrument.

I bought a Fender Jaguar (Jap) that came up on here recently.

Frankly, It is the best bass I have ever played or owned.
Great balance, amazing tonal variation, powerful, and looks cool too

I would definitely recommend these basses.

Bought Will's Fender Jaguar. Awesome bass and at a very fair price.

Would absolutely do business with him again, Will is a proper gentleman, had everything ready and even went to the trouble of laminating the guitar's wiring diagram!

Ideally a budget type EB3 or possibly 5 stringer.

I have one of these, had it for 20 years or so. It's the only bass I would never part with.

Awesome bass, never played a Gibson but am a massive fan of Andy Fraser.

@Jigster The neck is quite fat on this one, perhaps thicker even than a precision. I tried to find information on the pick ups to answer a personal message and the only info I could find were that they were Super 4's.
I believe they are humbucking as the commemorative model says they used the same pick ups as the originals and the commemorative pick ups are humbucking.
The neck I believe (according to Wikipedia) is Rock Maple and Walnut

Would be happy to hear from anyone who can confirm this or perhaps correct me.

Looks really nice, has that well worn in look I find very appealing.
I have been interested in learning the double bass and this would have been the one I would have bought had you been a little closer..

@ Steve Spector, I will provide a hard case with the bass.

I received a message from a chap to whom this bass belonged. I never noticed it before but feel I should mention that the tuning pegs do not appear to be original. (That is how he recognised the bass)
They were professionally fitted from a chap from this very site though

I am led to believe that the tuning pegs fitted are Gotoh.

Sorry for not mentioning it earlier but I had no idea, thanks to the chap who brought it to my attention.

Hey all,

Up for sale is my Ibanez Musician Bass. There are absolutely no issues with the bass apart from a few minor knocks and dings.
The bass is SOLID, built like a tank, so it is also a little on the heavy side.

I have had a blast with this bass, but I rarely pick it up these days so I'm going to move it along.

Price-wise, I think £650 ([b]NOW £600[/b]) is reasonable for a guitar of this age and quality. I tried to get a price online but there's not many about, the last one I saw was on ebay a few months ago from a seller in Canada who was asking £875 ( and was in worse condition than this)

Hi everyone,

Hoping to get a little help..

I'm playing the Mike Henderson version of this song and have listened to the bassline for hours trying to work it out.
I can get away with what I am playing but would love to know if there is any particular scale he is playing (like some chromatic scale) so I could just play around with the scale instead of a standard-ish walking pattern.

It sounds like he is throwing in a few bum notes to confuse me. Listen to the bassline at 1.46, that's what i'm really referring to.

Hi Cocco, just checked the serial number on this and it seems this model was made in the Korean World factory in 2005.
I have no idea how the original basses differ though.

For sale is my Ibanez 'Iceman' bass guitar.

It is in very good condition, although if you look hard enough there are very slight surface scratches on the rear of the bass .

It has a great sound, looks cool and is surprisingly powerful.

There are no issues with the bass, neck is straight, electrics work and action is decent.

The bass will be posted inside a padded case & padded cardboard box within 24 hrs of payment.
