  1. USA built 2001 Sterling (not to be confused with the Sterling sub-brand) in Blue Pearl with a bit of natural mojo/relicing to the finish, so not a mint example by any means but really nicely played in with a great feel - as a player I prefer this to a similar one I sold recently which was in much better condition cosmetically.

Fitted with a fresh set of Rotosound round wounds. No case.

Open for a cash sale or a trade with some 4 string and passive of a similar - ideally a P but maybe a J. What have you got?

    Thanks,

    Jon

  2. Born on the 18th August 1999 we have a beautiful Sterling 4H bass - not to be confused with the Indonesian built 'Sterling by Music Man' sub-brand, this is a beautiful USA built instrument in great condition for its 24 years with a deep metallic lustre to the paint - just a few minor dings as shown.

Neck and frets are all in great shape and it is currently slung with some pretty fresh medium gauge round wounds. Weighs in at a very manageable 3.53kg (7.8 lbs). Super easy to play with a slim jazz-bass style neck profile.

Comes with a quality hard shell case. I would prefer a meet/collection due to the value of the bass but I am also happy to ship at the buyers cost/risk.

I would possibly be interested in a swap deal with a decent P style bass - thinking a Japanese Fender or better.

    Any trial welcomed.

  3. Pirastro Flexocor Double Bass Strings

Excellent used condition. I got these new from a friend who plays classical bass - they were spares that had never been fitted to a bass.

I have used them lightly over the past year and I have realised that they aren't the right strings for me as I only play jazz and never bow. Hence I have replaced them with some Thomastik Spirocores.

These retail at over £200 and are offered in excellent condition - pick up a bargain.

    £50 + postage.

  4. I just bought an Aguilar TH350 from Dave for a bargain price which was absolutely as described, in mint condition. It was shipped at lightning speed and packaged really well. Dave was a please to deal with throughout - all credit to him!
