  1. I'm not rolling in it haha 😅. The wife has a car and I occasionally use that, but cannot use it frequent enough for gigs.
  2. I did that for 30 years. But with age and wanting to enjoy driving, that comes in the form of a 2 seater soft top 😄. And certainly cheaper to find a speaker to fit the boot, than upgrade/upsize the car.
  3. This is brilliant 👏 👌 🤣🤣
  4. Thanks buddy.
  5. Thanks mate, I'm down in Sunny Swindon 🌞 😆 Would really love to try one.
  6. https://www.lfsys.co.uk/bassguitarproducts Hey guys Before I pull the trigger on one of these, just want to hear some gig experiences and understand just how good this cab actually is. I've already spoken to Stevie who seems like a real gent, but it's still a lot of money for something i knew nothing about only a few days ago. This needs to be the very last cab purchase I make otherwise the missus will divorce me 😆. I've tried most cabs, mainly 212s (Barefaced, Vanderkley, Bergantino, EBS). The measurements of this cab mean it will fit in the boot of my MX5 which is a big plus, however I do not want to compromise on sound. I have a 5 string bass so must be able to handle the low B, and must be loud enough without any speaker distort/farting out. How does it compare to barefaced 112s and other high end 112s? Anyone played one on an outdoor gig? I'll stop blabbing on, but you get the gist. Thank you!! Freddie
  7. Anyone know if you can request different colour baffle on the LFSy cabs?
  8. Man, these look great. If i can shift items i have for sale then will bite the bullet. Measurements wise, looks like this should fit into the boot of my MX5. Win win!! Now somebody please buy my gear lol.
  9. Cheers guys, I have the NC (2009) model 🙂.
  10. It will fit on seat, just unable to fit my bass on top of the speaker without completely blocking the view on the passenger side window. Cheers for your help!
  11. Thanks man. I use a Quilter V803 as my main amp, and want something as loud as possible but must be able to handle the low B on my 5 String. Cheers 👍
  12. Hi guys, I am looking for recommendations on 112 cabs that can handle a 5 String. I need to downsize slightly and find something that will fit into the boot of my Mazda MX5. Thanks in advance Freddie
  13. Hey guys, Following items for sale: FMC 1210UL I purchased this recently from Franzbassist who done me a fantastic deal on it. A fantastic little cab, but unfortunately my transport situation means that I am no longer able to take this with me on all of my gigs. I now need to find a 112 cab solution, small enough that fits in the boot of my Mazda MX5. Handmade in Germany by Hans Struck. This is in mint condition and comes with a high quality padded sleeve custom-made by Hot Covers here in the UK. You will be able to find the previous add on here (Franzbassist). I can send you further pics on request. Taken from Franzbassist add (hope you don't mind!) This cab has a 12" neo speaker at the bottom and a 10" neo speaker at the top. There is no tweeter. Power handling is 600 watts RMS and the dimensions are 65.5cm high, 41.5cm wide and 41 cm deep. The actual weight of this cab is 17.5 kg with the cover on. Impedance 4 ohms. To quote the FMC site "The speaker sounds more powerful than a 210, it has the transparency of the 10" and the bulkiness and centre focus of the 12" speaker. Altogether a modern and open-sounding box with plenty of depth. New price in Germany is €754 (£641). Price drop £300 collected from Swindon or willing to meet somewhere within reason. Bugera Veyron BV1001M Amp As new, purchased for £229 from Andertons back in April 25. Boxed as new. Purchased for a back up, but no longer required. Price drop £150 collected from Swindon or willing to meet within reason. Pics to follow. You are very welcome to come try these out before committing to purchase. Kind regards Freddie
  14. Hello guys Does anyone know if I can run an 8ohm and a 4ohm (2 seperate cabs) together and safely using the Quilter V803? ...and if I do this, do i need to ensure something is changed on the amp for this to work, or will it do it automatically, ie do i leave the watts tuner at 800? Thanks in advance! Freddie 👍
  15. Just weighed this again......unless something wrong with the scales I am using. I initially stated 3.5kgs so must have been reading the Red marker, but even so, its showing 3.9/just under 4kgs.
  16. Thank you sir! I appreciate your help and guidance 🙂
  17. Thanks Bill, I appreciate your help.
  18. I guess my main point and question is, if any amp is underpowering the cab, which i guess the elf running a 300w 8hm cab will be, then surely it will give more power and lows to a 300w 4ohm cab?
  19. Its just the low end seems to break up quite considerably at not a very high volume. Perhaps mine is faulty!
  20. Purely for gigs where i can get away with using the elf which slips into the bass case, something less to carry! The EBS cab works fantastic with the streamliner, but a big drop in lows with the elf. Just wondering if the elf is being underpowered for just 112 8ohm? Which then led me to think whether a 4ohm cab would do a better job. Doesn't sound like it would make much difference.
  21. Thanks Bill. I'm using an EBS neoline 112, which is loud enough, it's more lacking in the low end with the elf certainly compared with my much more powerful streamliner (understandably so). But then I was thinking, is this to do with the cab being 8ohm. Or will a more sensitive 8ohm do a better job of pulling through the lows. Forgive my lack of knowledge!
  22. Thanks Bill, I have 2 x 8 ohm cabs already but looking to draw the full wattage out of the amp, so assuming a decent 112 4ohm cab will do the trick. For some venues I don't want to take both cabs, and 1 of the 8ohm cabs alone is obviously not pulling the full power from the elf. Thanks!
  23. Hi guys, I'm looking for a small 4ohm 112 cab to pair with a te elf. I know there is much on offer, but based on personal experiences is there any recommendations? Looking for something with good lows. Thank you!
