  1. Please note the Amp & both cabs have been sold
  2. I'm selling most of my gear for my upcoming wedding and was cleaning my old room at my mum's when I discovered in the bottom of the wardrobe under a pile of clothes that no longer fit a Korg A5 effects pedal I bought in 2001. I was just learning how to play the bass and was in a band and thought it be a good idea to buy as the guitarist had effects and I wanted to compete with him (i now know no point as a guitarist is ALWAYS right and has an ego bigger than a lead singers!!!). But anyway at the time there was no manual with it and the guy at my local music shop (electro music in Doncaster - where I've bought all me stuf over the years) hadn't a clue how it worked so gave it to me really cheap, plus the drummer and roadie had just bought an FX board and a few other bits so it was kinda thrown in. We had a look and play with it in the band and found it veru intriging and at the time couldn't find a manual for it on the web. So in the end I wasn't happy with the effects anyway as I thought that a bass sounds better being bassy and ended up getting a behringer bass enhancer instead. Well as I said earlier I found it in the bottom of my wardrobe recently and had forgot all about it till then (as you do). Well tonight I have found the instruction manual and downloaded the PDF and I'm going to have a play with it. As recently I have found myself just wanting to make some weird funky tunes and have a crazy idea of doing something weird and funky with a bass and a stylophone????? Don't ask why cos I'm not sure myself, I haven't played in a band for over 5 years and not interested in it at the moment, or interested in making the next big thing in music. I'm just interested in experimenting with some simple stuff I've got. And I think I might use the old Korg pedal with my bass again, and I'm getting to the end of my story; I was wondering if anyone else has used one of these and what they think. I've got a photo of one I've poached off google and going to study the manual but if anyone has any input or ideas on what I can do with a Stylophone (Got one of those dj ones that lets you record and an old style one) and a bass. Think I might need a simple cheap mixer and recorder but at the minute I'm just playing about as you do. Cheers for reading my rant and hope to hear any advice or stories about Korg A5's Alan
  3. Still for sale All my other gear has now been sold (which broke my heart) but the wedding fund is looking healthier Great bass still in good condition as hardly used - the band was going to do some acoustic folk gigs but then we split as you do!!!
  4. Sorry at the time of posting the speakers were unavailibe as they were in storage. Please see photos pf the actual speakers I am selling. Both are 4 ohm. The picture I used earlier was one off the net to show what speakers they were.
  5. BUMP!!! A great little spare bass or starter bass for someone
  6. Hi, afraid they are the black widow equpied cabs (if that's a bad thing as I've been told by a few DJ's that black widows are great speakers and I was always happy with them). Both work and both are 4 ohms. Alan
  7. Sorry, Right the Patch bay is £50 and all the rest are about £70 each or whatever reasonable offer you can give me. Sorry and hope you're still interested. Al
  8. It's a steal at £50 and I'm in Doncaster, don't fancy posting it so it's collection or can meet you in South Yorkshire
