  1. I like the look of the fender Himass bridges... really just for the look.

I've had absolutely no probs with the BBOT ones at all though.

Pleased with the Gotoh on my orange one, although I'd have been just as happy with the stock.

Dunno if the bass was customised or left the factory (Japan) with it... it has all black hardware.

The CV Squier bridges look okay if you can find one.

LPB good... tort good... but not together. The LPB and rosewood 70s vibe demands a mint or parchment pickguard.

    Absolutely 100%
Tort just looks so messy on these fancy colours, same goes for the more pastel shades like salmon or sonic.

Got to be 3 ply though.

Leave it alone and put some thread lock on the saddle screws. There's nothing whatever wrong with the standard bridge.

Indeed... I have a soft spot for the BBOT. They work, look cute and they work.

The Gotoh was on the bass when i got it, it's nice but there's nowt wrong with the stock bridge IMO.

Well... look what I just got:

I had no intention whatsoever of buying a Jazz, but I went to see someone about a Precision today and they also had this. I just couldn't resist it...

So a YOB Jazz is not an option, for historical reasons! :)

Yes... I'll settle for a Precision... I have a 62 Jazz, that will have to do.

That sonic jazz is my all time fave tho' but.

Does yours have the hump? Just curious as to the level of detail.

  6. I have Barts on my fretless CIJ Precision... I guess it's a custom job so I don't know what it was like before.

It's passive but has a lovely tone, quite warm and woody and plenty loud enough.
