  5. Hi all I recently bought a new bass so this has to go! TBH, I'm primarily a guitarist - I just play bass occasionally, and use basses mainly for recording purposes. So this bass has seen very little use and is in great condition. There is a slight, small mark on the back of the body, and a little bit of fret wear (still tonnes of life left in them). Usual pick swirls you find on any gloss finish. Other than that it is pretty darn minty. These Ibanez's have active EQ circuitry which requires a 9V battery. Two Pick-ups. If you want more details, just ask! *****Other Extras***** - A Hard Case (when I bought it it had no case) - I have a few NEW Neutrik/Van Damme leads for sale and will be able to chuck a couple in with this. - I can dig out a strap if needed as well as a pair of Schaller Straplocks for it. PLEASE NOTE: I also have a Carlsbro Bass Beasty amp for sale in the other forum. If anyone is interested in buying everything together as a package then get in touch and we can sort out a deal! Price = £190 for the bass+case+leads+strap+straplocks. I can look into shipping quotes if anyone is interested, or would be happy for this to be collected. Or we could meet halfway, etc. I can deliver if the buyer pays petrol, so long as it isn't too far!!!! Cheers Max Forgot to add - pics will follow as soon as I get the chance. Plus, I want to give the guitar some 5star treatment before taking pics - eg full on polish up of the frets, and some "Fret Doctor" on the fretboard. Got to get her looking nice ready for the photoshoot!!!!
  6. Hi all I've got a Carlsbro Bass Beasty 325W combo in excellent condition. PLEASE NOTE that this is the older style one with the black amp face and black grille, not silver. Looks much better IMO! Great sounding amp, but I'm not a bassist first and foremost (AARRRGGGHHH) and just need the space at mo. Plus I've recently bought a LINE6 POD XT Pro and got the Bass Expansion kit and so will use that for now. So up for sale she goes.....! Here's some specs: * 325W RMS * Ultra high impedance input * Variable input gain control * Deep function * Pre-amp clip (PPI) LED * 3 band active EQ * Mid shift function * Variable graphic EQ level control * 9 Band graphic EQ (foot switchable) * Graphic EQ level clip (PPI) LED * D/I pre or post EQ switch * Master volume control * Power amp clip LED * Pre-amp mute (foot switchable) * 15" Celestion speaker * HF horn * D/I output socket (balanced) * Tuner output socket * Aux send & return sockets * Fan cooled * Bar handles * Punched metal grille * Weight : 31Kg approx. * 4x Caistors I'm also selling an Ibanez GSR205 +case +leads +strap, etc. These are adviertised in the relevant sections, but if anyone is interested in buying several items as a "package", then I'm sure we can sort some kind of deal out. Pics to follow shortly. Price for amp only = £235. Obviously collection is preferred due to wieght. But I wouldn't mind meeting up or even dropping off if the buyer pays. Pays for methane? HAHA... Cheers Max
  7. Hi all I recently bought a secondhand Ibanez BTB1005OL which has a 35" scale length. Now, my Armours on and I'm heading for the bunker, so I will admit that I'm primarily a guitarist! But I do play bass as well, I'm just not too clued up on the finer points. So any advice as to whether I can use normal strings or do I need to look out for longer types? In the past Ive used Rotosound RS665LD. Will they be OK on the BTB? Cheers Max

  11. Hi all I recently bought a job lot of many different types of leads - guitar/bass, signal, speaker digital, etc. with a variety of different connectors - Jack (mono and stereo), XLR, Speakon, BNC, etc. etc. Now that I have wired up my studio and rig I'm trying to sell the surplus on. Most of them are new and have Neutrik Connectors and Van Damme cable. There are other types and makes though, and some are used. So if you need some decent qulaity ;eads - get in touch! I'm in Norwich, UK.....and would be happy to send as well as for items to be picked up. Cheers Max EMAIL = mlirocchi "at" yahoo "dot" co "dot" uk
