    Hi Andy,

Just a quick reply here to see if the Godin is still available ?

Was wondering where exactly the tiny ding/imperfection in the lacquer is located . . . I'm only viewing on an old iPad this end but I can't spot the ding ?

Could you confirm the neck profile . . is it more like a Jazz or a precision profile ? . . ie, in terms of "chunkiness", nut width etc . . .

Anyway I may be interested if your still want to move it on ?

  2. I've owned this combo from new in 1992 (it still has the sticker of the shop I used to work at!)

It's in excellent condition. It was used for rehearsals gigs for a few years in the 90's but has been in storage ever since.

150w Power Amp. 7 band graphic eq. 15'' Speaker.

It also still has the original Trace Elliot soft cover.

    No trades sorry. Collection only.

I had a Roscoe Beck signature 4 string, which was absolutely lovely, but the narrow nut was eventually something I couldn’t live with anymore ☹️.

Yeah, I was just kidding - you've got to stick to what's comfortable ( I struggle with anything wider than a Jazz bass neck and prefer a narrower string spacing at the bridge)

My, oh my, that is sooo pretty! I’m just glad that the nut width is too narrow for my paws (I get on best with a P/‘Ray type width), otherwise the price and proximity would have Lady Ez scolding the living 💩 out of me. GLWTS, I really can’t this hanging around long.

You'll be surprised how quickly you'll

get used to the slim nut ;)

  5. Up for sale is my mint condition 2015 Sadowsky Metro Will Lee.

I've owned this one from new  (purchased from GuitarGuitar)

It's a light, versatile bass with a very smooth, slim neck and low action. I've attached a video demonstration and Sadowosky's own printed guide to the tone controls to give a quick overview of some of the tonal possibilities (it also has a factory installed d-tuner).

The bass has a fantastic high quality nitro-cellulose finish that really allows the Ash grain to show through the wood - reminiscent of the mid/late 50's Fender Blonde finishes.

    Spec from Sadowsky:

    MODEL Metroline MV4-WL

    BODY Solid swamp ash

NECK Maple with thin matte nitro finish
FINGERBOARD Maple, 12″ radius, 1.45″ nut width

    HARDWARE Chrome
    PICKUPS Sadowsky humcancelling
PREAMP Sadowsky preamp with vintage tone control and mid boost circuit

    No trades sorry. Collection preferred.

That's lovely. The neck looks very clean - has it had a new fingerboard as well as the refret?

This has a 1-piece neck so not a new fingerboard but Martin (Bass Gallery / SEI) did a great job of refinishing it when he regretted the bass for me.

Recently had my 3rd dealing with Andy, twice buying and once selling. Always a genuine pleasure, feeling more social than transactional.

Andy knows a good bass and has exquisite taste - so if you’re buying from him you’re in for a treat ;)

Thanks for the kind words Daniel!

    So sad 😞

I went to his workshop a few years back, he was a perfect host and clearly a warm and genuine guy. Just for fun, Mike was excitedly asking me to try an original 57 P Bass he was working on, which I did, but I was more excited about playing his own P Bass and the beauties hanging on the wall.

I owned a few of Mike’s basses, there’s one I really shouldn’t have let go of in hindsight as I sold it for a more expensive vintage bass I couldn’t really afford, @Andy has her now :(

    RIP Mike

Could always put that one right for you Daniel - I'm just starting to thin out my newer gear in favour of vintage so it could be available for you if you're really missing it!
