Here's mine, an 06 mex jazz (with wizard hammers), and a shine warrior i think its called (its wired straight from the neck pickup to the jack) both with flats!

  2. Selling my DHA VT2 Dual custom bass pedal as i really dont use it anymore! It is in pretty good condition and includes the power pack, the only bad point really is the tone by-pass switch is snapped off but it can still be used by using something sharp to get into the whole.
Looking for £100 ono inc postage

  4. Wel i have some wizards (hammers) in my mex jazz and did some samples so you can here them, they are very rough samples as i just plugged my bass into my laptop and recorded them but its better than nothing! In my opinion they are plenty bright enough for the rock band i'm in! I have some labella flats on it just so you know.

  5. As i am a trumpet player first and formost (recently passed my grade 8! ) i can read music competantly, and i have grade 5 music theory aswel. But i cant read music and play bass as i have been rather lazy and not learnt the fretboard as it were! So i feel that is holding me back a fair amount. But as i am fairly musical, i can get around that by using my ear. It hasnt held me back yet but if i ever wanted to try and do any pit work or anything a little more demanding, i cudnt really cud i ! Ah wel i dont really have the time or patience to learn!

  6. i hav the hammers and think they are really good. not sure how to describe them tho as i dont have much experience with describing pickups! i changed out my standard mexican pickups for them and think its a great improvement. I wil work on getting some sounds up but doubt i will be able to. The strings i use are chromes and i think they really suit the pickups as they are fairly bright flats. I am in a rock/funk band and these pickups sound great and i have had many compliments from bass players on how good my bass sounds.
