Hi All Just saying Hello as I have just joined up. I have had a Westfield Bass for a few years now but so far not had the time due to reasons beyond my control at the time had chance to learn. But this year 2009 I should with a bit of luck have a lot more time to myself to get stuck in so to speak. A few weeks ago I treated myself to one of the 60s Vintage Hofner Copy - Westfield VB960 - Semi Acoustic Bass www.westfieldguitar.co.uk/westfield/products.asp?ID=158 I play it through my Peavey 50W Practice Amp, has a really nice tone to it and ideal for playing all those classic 60s records that featured the classic Hofner sound.
