Looks like a great bass for that money! What's the neck profile and the nut width?
Cheers! Its based on a Precision neck, 9.5 radius and a 43mm nut width if I remember correctly. Can always check tomorrow as Im away tonight.

My new tribute band's 2nd gig last night. A warm-up at The Garrison in Barnsley. We're announcing an Autumn UK tour tomorrow including some pretty bloody good venues for a tribute with only 2 gigs under our belt. Its taken us nearly a year to get everything to the standard we're happy to put out and its paying off. You can't really do a tribute to Post Malone unless you know you can pull it off. We had people last night who came up to us after and said they're Post Malone fans but came to see us thinking that we'd be shit and it'd be a laugh and that instead we blew them away. I take that as a win!
The Garrison is a brilliant venue, the only tough part is it's a Sports Bar first and a music venue second, so we had to sound check/load in to a packed building. Other than that, its ace.

I often sound check with God is Dead? From 13. When that song gets going the bass lines are ace.

I know Tom and the guys in his shop. He’s one of the UK’s leading luthiers and is a truly lovely chap.
I have no doubts that this is an amazing bass. Good luck with the sale.
Cheers!
Totally. Tom's build quality and attention to detail is fantastic. Stands against my Fodera easily. I dont know how but the tone is super nice, really musical sounding. It was originally passive but I had Tom install a preamp a couple of years ago.

Not the catchiest of names but the opportunity to get custom ordered Stingrays is now available and way overdue!
Unfortunately I'm selling off basses currently but I'm excited to see what people get.
Anyone going for it or considering it? I love that roasted flame maple necks are an option.

Oh my, what a bass, what a story!!
We've all been there - well I have, that's for sure... So, I feel your pain @Devers95, I really do.
Anyway, it looks like a beautiful instrument and best of luck with the sale!
Ha, if I can shift something else first I'll be removing this as I really don't want to let it go. Ideally Id happy sell my other few basses, keeping just this and the Fodera. We'll see how it goes!

Reduced to £800. Going no lower. Cheers.
Next up in my 'help fix my house' sale is my long loved Custom Waghorn Sauria Bass.
A lesser known but incredible luthier, Tom Waghorn built this for me 10 years ago. It features the following:
Maple and wenge neck-thru, cocobolo capped Swamp ash body wings, plus walnut veneers. Cocobolo fingerboard, Delano P/J/humbucker pickups, Seymour Duncan 3 band active preamp. A side a few expexted light scratches on the back from 10 years of use its completely undinged/unmarked elsewhere. It has been well looked after.
I *think* the radius is your standard 9.5 but it may be a bit flatter as it feels way faster to play but that may just be me.
It cost me £2000 10 years ago. Tom's waitlist is a couple of years now and this would run £3000+. As far as build quality goes it's second-to-none. A lot of sentimental value with this bass but I think my price is sensible.
Weight is 4.1kg.
Its original hixcox case is broken and gone but it now lives in a Fender hardcase which is included. Happy to ship if buyer arranges currier.
Any Qs give me a shout! Cheers.

**REDUCED** It's going no lower than £2700. I'll keep it otherwise. Cheers.
For sale is my LTD edition Stacked knob Fender Custom shop Jazz relic. It has a 9.5" radius, handwound pickups and a quartersawn maple neck. Also comes with pickup covers if you enjoy making bass more challenging.
It's a very very reluctant sale, I'll be putting a couple of things on to fund yet again more house-related things unfortunately.
The neck is absolutely superb. The best I've ever felt on anything, and those who have seen me here before will know my main player is a Fodera Elite.
I bought this early ish 2023 from GuitarGuitar in Birmingham. I didn't tell the girlfriend and, as a result, its been hidden away under the sofa bed in my office completely unplayed ever since. I've never even plugged it in.
Comes with all unopened/untouched case candy, original case and fender custom shop leather Strap. The whole thing is basically in the same condition as if you bought it yourself from GuitarGuitar, aside the relic finish obviously!
Weight: 4kg without covers
Any Qs give me a shout!
Can ship if buyer arranges it. Theres a few nearby stores I use to get guitar boxes so would need a day or two to go and sort that. Im off work for 2 weeks now so can sort quickly.

Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival at Magna yesterday. One I've always wanted to do.
Sound engineer was fantastic, my brother was in the audience and said the sound out-front was spot on. I assumed it would be as the woman doing sound asked me to play multiple times during the changeover/line-check. She actually cared about bass sounding good out front which is great!

Man I keep getting tempted to sell off a bass to fund this. I want it so bad.

I've got a 1960 CS Jazz, OW, tort guard and rosewood board. Best jazz going.
I went to guitarguitar in Birmingham a year or so ago with the intention of getting either a pro 2 or Ultra. Tried the CS and the sound was leagues above the basses I'd originally gone to try. Ended up then trying a few CS jazz basses with a sunburst in mind but the OW 1960 one was the bees knees in both sound and feel. Lightly relic'd. Again, something I never thought Id buy. I even considered buying it and having it refinished but I've left it as is. I was pleasantly surprised.

Used Darkglass Hyperluminal Compressor, bought from Bass Direct a couple years ago.
Has had minimal use and isnt far from new in all honesty. I'm only moving it on as I use a digital setup for both guitar and bass so figured someone else would get better use out of it!
Postage at buyers expense, will ship in unoriginal box.
I live in Sheffield and occasionally work in Swindon so can always arrange for collection if you fancy. Would prefer to post if poss though.
Cheers.

My band 'Shreds.' played our first headliner show last night! We were at Cafe Indie in Scunthorpe. It was our first time playing Scunthorpe, and Cafe Indie was a really great venue. Nice large stage decked out with a lot of new gear and lighting. Apparently there were about 200 people that showed up!
The person running sound did an excellent job, and was even super helpful about letting us put our recording rig in-line with their setup (we have 16 transformer-isolated XLR splitters, preamps, laptop and usually record our live sets). We arrived early and set everything up well in advance of the show start time. The other bands were keen to be recorded live, so I hit 'record' for each of those first three sets.
When we got up on stage to play last, I tuned my bass and then focused on silently warming up during the precious few moments that I had. Our drummer looked over and indicated "let's go" and off we went. Unfortunately I forgot to hit 'record' for our set! Ha! Oh well... next time I'll be more careful!
Im playing there next weekend! Glad you had a good time. It'll be my first time there and I've heard great things.

Two years of filming gigs on my Go Pro and last night was the first time drunk punters finally grabbed it. All ended well fortunately! Good gig all around.
Bonus points to one of the photographers who actually set my Go Pro up again in a less risky position to catch the rest of our set.

Haha, I wanted it modelled on my P bass at the time but with 24 frets. It feels great.
