Hi all! Im John, im a bassist from Texas! Ive been playing the bass guitar since i was 14 when my friend showed me the Powerslave record by Iron Maiden. The second i heard it i rushed out to buy a bass, i couldnt afford a nice Fender made P bass like Steve Harris uses so i got a cheap used Yamaha to start on and im saving to get a Jazz Bass soon! I hope to get to talk to a lot more bass players here and learn a lot about the instrument since i am still an amateur
