1995 Squier Precision Bass, made in Korea at the Cor-Tek factory, this is the more desirable gold logo model. Features include a full width alder body, rosewood board and maple neck. The bass is in great condition, set up, fret board cleaned and oiled, some slight discolouration to the back of the neck but nothing that affects the playablility and a naturally aged white finish that oozes mojo.

I don’t play short scale but what a lovely bass, GLWYS
It really doesnt feel like a shortscale, feels more like a 34" I had to measure it to check it was actually a shortscale.

Based on scale length, isn’t the Blackstar a good bit shorter than the Ibanez? If I was looking for a compact bass for travel, etc. that would be the deciding factor.
The scale length specs are 28.6 for the Mikro and 23.46 for the Blackstar. Having owned both basses, so far im really enjoying the Blackstar and thats all that really matters. I would suggest that you go to PMT and try out both basses and see which one you enjoy the most and which suits your needs the best

This!
I had the Mikro, it was a nice little instrument, but sent it back, I prefer the string height on the low side but couldnt get that particular bass to where I wanted it. I found the Blackstar was more or less good to go out of the box, the Musicman style neck wheel truss rod adjustment was a nice little touch and the tone control knob did actually blend rather than just trebble or dull, nice features on a bass ive seen listed for as low as £169. Its not going to replace my USA Fender Jazz Deluxe or USA Musicman Sterling but its fun travel size bass that will probably fit inside your suitcase.

I got one today, its a really fun little bass, pleasantly suprised how well it plays. Gonna take it to rehearsal tomorrow, looking forward to the reaction from the rest of the band when I pull out the worlds smallest bass

Lovely looking thing. I was watching this particular one sell on eBay last month, here is the description from ebay which provides a bit more info, GLWS
“A 1980 Aria Pro II bass from the legendary Matsumoku factory.
(The serial number beginning with '0' means 1980 production year)
This was the time when the Japanese manufacturers were switching from churning out copies, to original designs intended to challenge the established makers head-on.
To overcome the perception of Japanese guitars being cheap copies and get some attention from the market, they adopted a simple strategy: absolutely superb build quality.
These instruments are renowned for that, and this is an exceptionally well-made bass.
Which is really the reason I'm selling it. It's built like a tank and therefore VERY heavy (5.5 Kg) and my poor old back can't really cope with that for long gigs any more.
But it plays superbly well, 32" medium scale is very playable, the sound from those custom humbuckers is phenomenal (if you're after those 80s Duran Duran tones, this is for you!), and it's really in superb nick for a 43 year old bass.”
I would like to add that the bass weighs 4.5kg not 5.5kg and is in no way as back breakingly heavy as the previous message suggests.

Nice bass you have! I have the SB5000, and would really like to have a SB4000 too.
I’m only afraid that shipping from the UK will be very expensive. And I have to pay import duties and 21% taxes as well. Do you have any idea how much shipping to the Netherlands will be?
Hi, it will be £20 with Parcelforce worldwide euro economy
