    Right, so ive started DB lesson, I've had about 3 so far, and my teacher is renting me his second DB. Kind enough of him. So ive ben looking on thomann and places to buy one. Is there anywere else, anything else i should look, i have till around the end of june to get something. Im selling a guitar, and two cornets, and trying to get a job. So is it better to go better sooner, or get the cheaper one and then wait till have gone up a few grades and then go for something good. Thanks Sam H

    Damn it if only i lived in England, i have a cheap 5 er, which i repainted an modded so its like a Stu hamm bass. It plays really nice actually. I want one of these so Bad. Lovely bass.

    I bought an ashdown mag 600 R in the end. A bit disappointing, but it gets the job nicely done. Just winderng how loud is a 100 valve watts turned up.

    You have no idea how annoying thisa is, i just bought my amp, and im in Wexford, and im in dublin for the next two weeks. Lovely head, good luck with the sale anyway.

    Well, if you really want a tube head, theres been two trace elliot twin vlaves, on ebay recently, there might be more. Around 500 i think they went for.

    Youre not going to get a vlave head and cab for 600, you might be able to geet an amoeg v-4 for 600 but thats, it. You could get a hartke vx2x15 and a hartke lh500 for around that much. Its got a nice little tube in the preamp which is really nice.

    It sucks mate, it farts out, and sounds really really bad, with anything but clean. Well this is what i thibnk and i like ashdown, i own a mag, but these practise things suck. You would have done alot better with the orange.

    Hi guys, i want to make a 2x15, ill post details later, but im using two fane speakers, a passive crossover unit and a 5" driver, if i post all this would someone be able to help with ther size. I want this to be as simple as possible, i also need some help with the tuning of the cab, so if i post all this, will you be able to explain it in laymans terms. Thabnks Sam

    Theres one on ebay, with a cab, if you want to check it out. And it has a 3u rack case.
