So I won a great big 4x10 500w combo from my college, for being top bass student of the year Only I'm not getting much use out of it cos it's pretty big for my current level of playing, and I'd like to get something more practical so I can use it at smaller gigs, so it's up for sale for any reasonable offer. Since it's no longer in production and I can't find anything similar to compare it to I'm estimating its value at around the £500 mark. Well i'm studying at Tech Music Schools in Acton, so i have to learn a new bassline to perform every week. Last one was I Shot The Sherrif, nice!

Hey there, just a uick not to say hi. I am 27 rs old, bassist, playing a court precision at the moment, looking out for a sweet ass 5 string tho! I love my soul and funk, big fan of jaco pastorius and james jamerson. Looking to get my soul function band on the road as soon as possible. Nice to meet you all! PS. The main reason I'm here is to start to get my hands round some cool ass funky soul lines. Does anyone know of anywhere to get some bass transcriptions. Things like California Soul, Take Yo' Praise etc etc. Can't find many resources online for the bassist!
