    Hi Price drop to £400 for this bass in excellent condition - with gig bag. It's about 18 months old. Not looking for trades as I need the cash sadly so this bass has to go! Been trying to sell it in the London area (via relatives) for a while now with no joy, thus the price drop from £450. Thought I'd see if there's any interest on here before it is Ebay-bound! I'm based in Ormskirk in Lancashire and don't want the hassle of sending it so ideally collection only.     Hi It's a Mexican bass. Black with gold scratchplate with maple neck. Aside from that, the technical details (I'm not a huge bass techie by the way) is as on the GAK description. It's got a gig bag with it and I've just had it restrung and a brand new Fender bridge fitted. I actually live in the NW, however my brother (who lives in SE London) has taken the bass down there with him on the assumption that we'd sell it pretty quickly so I can't really ask him to send it out - I'd rather it was collected in person to be honest.     Hi all Just a piece of advice wanted please........ I'm selling one of these: http://www.gak.co.uk/en/fender-active-p-bass-special-black-rosewood/15787 18 months old - selling it in South London - and wanted £450 for it. Trying to sell it on Gumtree and (very surprised that) I've not had a sniff of interest. Am I asking too much? Not put it on eBay yet but that's looking like the next step. Cheers in advance Z

    Hello A mate of mine has given me a hohner fretless Pbass but alas it is stringless. I've never owned (or even played) a fretless and was just wondering what kind of strings any of you wise people on here would recommend. He said to me when he gave it to me that it needs light strings as the neck has a tendency to bend if the strings are too heavy! Help please!! Cheers Z

    Just got an email from GAK saying it won't be available til the end of August. Bit gutted to be honest. Anyone know of anywhere with stock at the minute??? I HATE WAITING!!!!!!

    You see these a lot on vintage Fenders but I still for the life of me can't see the point of them (aside from the obvious damage protection). Is there another blindingly obvious reason for them? They'd get on my bloody nerves tbh.
