It will be interesting to see the resale value in the UK
-
It's scarily cheap! Compared to the 'real one' shipping is a little high and assume there would be some import on this too. But wow 😲

Issue 3 and strings arrived 😁😁😁

Those who are talking about the strings, you don't get them until month 5 so that sounds about right. Not about to send strings out until you've at least covered the cost of them!
Any links to any articles? Can usually spot AI articles a mile off.
That was originally said about the strings and then they started to send them out straight away

What are people’s experiences with delivery now they’re three issues in?
Mine:
Issue 1 - arrived on time.
Issue 2 - didn’t, emailed them and Dan responded promptly, apologised, sent a link to their online version and sorted the hard copy which dully arrived.
Issue 3 - nothing, emailed them multi times and nothing.
Strings - nothing so far.
Hopefully only teething problems but it’s not a great start. I’ll probably cancel.
Just to add to this
Issue 1 arrived on time
Issue 2 arrived towards the end of the month after several emails. The strings finally arrived but they sent medium scale strings, so I returned them but now not received the promised ones. (Paid postage for the return)
Issue 3 no communication whatsoever
When I email I always get a response, they will be sent today/tomorrow and then another week passes etc

According to some fb posts neither have the strings from issue 1.
Same, issue 2 or strings haven't arrived. It states it's released on the 15th of March too.

Issue 2 has failed to arrive yet 😲

I was thinking about subscribing to the new Bass Review Magazine. I had looked at the website at the weekend and was sure that the subscription for a paper copy delivered to your door was £5.99. When I went back to the website today I notice the price is £6.99. My ageing memory may be failing me but I wondered if anyone else can throw light on the pricing.
Mine is £5.99 a month and free strings are on the way too

Really enjoyed the day, I struggled to find the Sandbergs but when I did I played The Victor Brandt, Ida Nielsen and Bass the world ones. What amazing basses they are. The prices did seem normal and not show price. But I really did appreciate being able to play them.

Hi all,
Thinking of pulling the trigger on a Kiesel JB4 choosing a selection of options from their catalogue. Quite surprised there isn't more talk about Kiesel basses here. Aware they were called Carvin in the past and since Jeff Kiesel came on board he decided to split the brand into Carvin and Kiesel.
Has anyone had any experiences with them? Anyone ordered a their build directly from them? How was the experience?
Cheers!
Did you end up buying it!

Amazing. That without the fancy wood layering as a production model would be very welcome.
I find it frustrating that they do not release all these awesome BBs for the general public.

Recieved my strings today
yes they do have black silks, the silks do clear the nut on my fender 51 p bass with through body stringing
il leave the neck to settle and do a set up later , as the la bellas i had were much higher tension so il have to adjust the truss rod etc. il post my opinion in a couple of days when ive had a chance to try them out.
Is the a MIJ or MIA and what version please @jay bass

This signature has definitely split opinions,
It's great to see something different and different type of accessories.
It will be really interesting to see if these sell and potentially in 10 years it will be a rare item especially if the accessories are still with it.
I did like the look of his Sandberg signature a few years ago

That's lovely 😍

Has anybody traded a bass by sending it to them 👍

Get the discount and sell it, then buy another one ☺️

My 734a has arrived but Yamaha have let me down.
The finish is has flowed in a couple of places resulting in thick ridges in it. One bad one along the line where the front of the body transitions into the forearm carve and three not so bad ones one the rear belly cut.
It would flat and polish out as there's clearly a shed load of lacquer on it but I shouldn't be messing around like that on a reasonably pricey bass.
I'll contact the shop tomorrow but they're now showing as on order from manufacturer so I might be in for wait.
😕
Any news 😭

Are you still happy with your GB signature, little tempted at trying one out.

Should be happy new bass day after wanting one of these since they were announced. Instead a call back to vendor to have this one collected and a new one sent which is going to be likely over a week end to end.
Damaged paint on front and covered in dirty fingerprints. Why don't they just leave them sealed if they are in the warehouse?
The last few instruments i bought new have arrived similar to this. The excuse has been they are so busy etc. My last one came hanging out of the box

Sent Billy Sheehan my Yamaha Attitude scratch plate to sign, he did so and sent back quite a lot of other merchandise too. It was my 40th then and I’ll be forever grateful 👍😎
Billy is a legend

The BBPH was £899 in PMT and slightly over a £1000 for a signed one but they had a discount code so they were cheaper then that. All other shops had no signed at £999.
I wish I bought a signed, I had one in my basket for awhile but I thought they would be a 2nd run.
