    Afternoon, new here. Recently I acquired a vintage bass (Teisco EB - 18 1964/65) and yesterday got to work on restoring it. Today I bought some strings to check out the sound and electrics but nothing came out! Any advice will be greatly appreciated. It appears to be a humbucker pickup and I'm reluctant to replace it as apparently they're pretty fat sounding.
