1. As a reason for a gratuitous bump I would like to mention that these amps sell new for £849. As this link proves.

So for £350 you get a saving of £500! That has got to be a bargain surely?

2. Aha! Here is my Roland up for sale. Eagle eyed bass chatters may notice that I am also selling my Trace Elliot V Type combo for £350 as well. The reason for all this salesmanship is down to getting the cash together to buy a TC rebelhead and speakers. It is interesting that both combos are great in their own way. The Trace has a great vintage quality whilst the Roland is a very modern lightweight combo pumping out 400 watts into its twin neodymium 10 inch speakers and tweeter.

I have used this Roland since new as my main session amp and have used it both live and in the studio. It is a terrific amp and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a jack of all trades that is both loud and tonally versatile. The amp only weighs about 25 kg which is surprisingly light for such a loud and punchy amp.

The condition I would say is very good. The only issues are there is a bit of tolex rash on the back which can be seen in one of the photos. I have recently put brand new knobs on the front where before the silver panels on the knobs had come off. I have some spare new knobs too which I will include.

So I am looking for £350 for this amp. I would rather collection as I have had bad experiences with couriers lately. I am based in Bristol.

3. Following on from my successful sale of my V Type head a few weeks ago, I'd now like to offer my Trace Elliot V Type combo for sale. It is the 5001 model which is basically a valve preamp with a 300 watt mosfet power stage. The combo has a single 15 inch speaker and no tweeter. It is a terrific amp with loads of whump. Anyone who has played one of these can testify to it having an incredible valve quality. The condition is in good nick. No crackly pots. The speaker was upgraded to a 300 watt 8ohm Fane.

Now sold

4. Hi,

Yikes! Sending this beast overseas would be very expensive. I guess I would send it if you want to pay for the shipping. I have no idea how heavy it is though, anyone? It is the Diesel model by the way in Black Tolex although it has lots of nicks and scuffs. Mine unfortunately (like my Roland combo) doesn't have the casters but I have a specially made board with large casters on that it can be pushed around on

I also have a Roland Vbass system with GK 3 pickup. This is boxed with manual and is in great condition.
I want £320 for this please. SOLD!

That's it for now. Sorry no pictures as I am in Sweden at the moment. I will be back 28th of March. I can upload some then.

Thanks,

Gaz

6. Hey Folks,

I have decided to sell a bunch of stuff to try and raise cash for a TC rig. I have the following up for sale:

Mesa Boogie 1516be Cab - a bit tatty but in perfect working order. A great, beefy, full range cab with a 15 inch, a 10 inch, 2x6 inch plus a tweeter.
I want £350 for this blighter Update - This cab is now SOLD

Roland D-bass 210 combo - A great 2x10 combo rated at 400 watts but very loud and punchy. To be honest, I love this combo and have used it in numerous situations but I think it
will be sadly redundant when I get the TC rig. Very lightweight and versatile, I would recommend this amp to anyone who wants a loud and modern combo. It has a dedicated piezo input too which you don't see too often. It is in great condition except for two knobs have lost there silver caps (no biggie really) plus mine doesn't have the casters. I bought it new from Sound Control about 2 years ago and they didn't supply me with any. I found out that it should have had them but they never sorted me out. So, sorry about that but it is so light for its size I don't think it's too much of a problem.
I want £375 for this please (a bargain I reckon as they sell for £849 now) Now Sold

Trace Elliot V type 5001 head. This is the valve pre/mosfet powered head. It is a loud 300 watts and has a great sound. This particular unit has been used on some Oasis recordings but please, don't let that put you off! It is in pretty good nick although the carpet covering has some cigarette burns in one place (a Gallagher to blame I reckon!). The Pre amp side of this head is sublime and is debatably worth the price I am asking alone. These are quite rare these days and you don't often see them advertised.
I want £250 for it. Now SOLD!

7. Hey guys, I have finally decided to part company with this beastie bass cab. None more rock really!

It is a monster cab featuring a 15", a 10", 2x6" plus a horn. The horn is switchable (off, half or full). It is the uprated BE model which has an electro voice speaker. The cab is rated at 600 watts but apparently can handle whatever you throw at it. The condition mine is in is pretty good. All the speakers are tip top. The Tolex however is scuffed and pretty rough in places as this was a gigged cab. Anyone who knows these cabs will testify that they are tough as old boots though and a bit of gig rash just adds to the macho nature of this cab!

My cab has had its a casters removed and attached to a board so it can be moved around but then lifted off for a more stable grounding. The guy who had it before me got the speaker grills sprayed red. I have subsequently sprayed them black again although little chips of black have come off revealing red underneath which makes it look like its bleeding a bit. As I said this is a true ROCK cab!!!

This is a really great classic cab that you don't see very often and I think has a bit more hoof than an 8x10. I have decided to sell it now that I am not gigging as much.
It is currently living in cardiff so next time I visit I will get some photos of it so you can see it for yourselves.

I would like £400 for this beauty. SOLD

Cheers,

Gaz
