1. If I don´t negotiate this bass in the next couple of days I will be keeping it, because I will be moving abroad shortly.
2. Thanks Thornybank! I have a few cash offers and some trade offers. The bass is still available. If I don´t sell or trade it by Tue I might accept an offer that I have from a store or I might even keep it. So, keep the offers coming!
3. To be fairly honest I´d rather trading this bass for a SR5 or a lakkie 55-02 than selling. Obviously they should be in mint condition. If I sell it I will be buying one of these basses immediately. Bumpanamera!
4. It was almost traded today but is still available. Be-bump-a-lula again.
5. I've had some trade offers and a cash offer. However, the bass is still available. Be-bump-a-lula.
6. Thanks again for those who have made offers. Keep them coming. If I don't sell this bass by next week I might either go to ebay or accept one offer that I had for bass in a finish that I am not crazy about.
7. PM's replied but the bass is still available. Keep the offers coming guys.
8. Thanks fatboytoo! You might notice that there was a small price drop. Also, whoever might be interested, please don't hesitate to PM me with offers.
9. Thanks Dave! I've had a couple of trade offers and a few inquires about the price. However, the bass is still available.
10. Thanks for the comments! I've just rejected another trade offer. I'd like to mention that I would prefer to trade this bass for basses in a similar condition than mine. I am not a good photographer but this bass is totally in "as new" condition, probably the same as if it was in a store.
11. Thanks for your reply BigBeatNut! Well, the 55-02 is not on the top of my list. But, as you might known, it comes with a hum like PU and a J like PU. I prefer the tonal possibilities of these 2 PU's rather than the ones of the straight j basses such as the JO5 and the DJ5. However, it is important to mention that this is personal preference. A lot of people would disagree with me and this is fine.
12. Thanks guys! I really love natural finishes too. I agree with Thunderthumbs when he says that a colour can turn you off a bass despite the sound. I have been offered a trade but I don't like the colour of the bass that I was offered. So this one is still for sale/possible trade....
13. Thanks for the bump NancyJohnson! It is funny. I love natural finishes but don't like red ones. It is just a matter of taste.
14. Thanks fatboytoo! Hope you can sell your basses quickly too. The first PMs have been replied.
15. Thanks Rasta! It is indeed a great bass. Don't know why but I've always been a P bass person. Tried to change for a bit but it didn't work. It's just a personal preference. I've played also a couple of SR5's that I really liked. Re the PUs, I am not entirely sure but I think they are the new lakkie ones but they do have a nice tone.
16. I'm selling my Lakland Joe Osborn 5 string - I love the way it plays with a very comfortable low action but - for some reason - I believe that I am not a jazz bass person. I'd say it is in 10/10 condition as it was bought in Feb and it's never been gigged. £800 collected or + delivery (comes with a hiscox hard case in excelent condition). The only basses I am in interested are: Stingray 5 or a Lakland 55-02. Obviously, I would be willing to trade my bass for basses in a similar condition than mine.

I've tried this bass. It plays really well and it is in very good condition. I am sure whoever buys it will be pleased.
18.
Sure I can't tempt you with a trade for my gorgeous G&L and some cash your way ?? Cash waiting....................go on go on go on, S
Hi, Thanks again for you offer. I initially thought about trading this bass for a DB. The main problem though is that I am moving abroad in the next few months and I already bought a new passive bass. It would be a nightmare to take two basses on the plane, so I'm not keen on trades. I am open to cash offers though. PM me if you have something in mind. Thanks, P
19.
Interesting you should say that Rich. When I bought my Stentor I tried a Zeller along side it and the Zeller was much boomier. It had a tone I didn't take to. Whereas the Stentor had a lovely clear tone.
I tried both at Footes and TBH I had the impression that the Stentor had a much more 'warmer' and present tone. It is worth mentioning though that the action of the Zeller was extremely low.
20.
I bought this bass about 3 to 4 months ago. It is entirely in “as new” condition (still with plastic on the pickguard, etc.). The bass has never been gigged and comes with fender molded case and all the other bits (strap, straplock, fender cable, etc.). It has a nice setup and plays really well. I am only selling it because I am not used to active circuits. The U.S. list price of this bass is $2.450 http://admin.fender.com/resources/pricelis...-fenderbass.pdf. I am asking only [s]£999[/s] £950 o.n.o. Sorry, but I change my mind and I am not interested in trades. Basically, whoever buys this bass will get a really nice brand new bass for less.
Bump for the price drop. If I don't sell it here I might put it on eBay on Sunday.
Foote's in Soho stock Zellers as I recall, you need to go to the back of the shop then down in the basement.
Thanks! I went there yesterday and tried a Zeller with adjustable bridge and thomastik spirocore strings. Not a huge sound but really nice though.

I would like to say thank you for those who proposed me trades for passive basses but I've already got one. As I said, I would be interested in a double bass (not laminate). I am open to cash offers (please PM me in case you're interested). TBH, I am not in a hurry to sell this bass but I might go to eBay next Sun if I don’t sell it here by then.
