1. Which model Q Tron, and where would the local pickup be?
Hi there both great units in awesome condition. Selling bits and bobs to make my moving out easier.

Q TRON - all of you know what it does and it does it well. 60 posted.... or even 50 if local pickup is arranged
Oc-3 super octaver - its quite nice but I dont use it. 45 delivered.

I used to run the two together to make a P Funk sound with the Qtron drive down. It sounded luuuuuuvly.

    Let me know if interested.

Oh yeah, I have a Warwick streamer stage I for sale with gigbag and flight case. 600 quid..... Jut a thought.
2. Hi,
I have a GK150 MB which I am very happy with but am starting to do some louder soul type gigs and need more bottom end. I'm thinking to get a lightweight 1x15 cab as an add-on to the GK and depending on how these louder gigs go may sell the GK and get something like a MarkBass LMII.
So, I'm looking for something small, light, loud, deep and cheap! I realise I'm not going to get all of these but any recommendations would be gratefully received. And if anyone has anything suitable for sale let me know - if I go 2nd hand I may be able to get all my requirements!

  3. I bought a 5 string double bass last September but have found I don't have enough time to practice. I am thinking of selling and am just gauging if anyone would be interested in buying it. It's a German plywood bass made around 1980. It has a very good pizz tone - I think arco is OK but I don't use the bow much so wouldn't like to say. It's set up for pizz - reasonable action and a good tone with new Thomastik spirocores. I have put a K&K bass max pickup on it which works very well. It's a nice looking bass - a kind of mid brown colour and looks fairly aged. A few scuffs but all cosmetic. The B string works very well - strong and full with loads of sustain. When I bought it I was worried that the B string would be hard to master but it's not a problem at all and is great for funk tunes or the last note on a ballad. It has a bow - not high quality but adequate. Also a good padded case with lots of pockets and a carry strap.
Contact me via this forum if interested. Sensible offers only. Could provide pics if interested. I am based in Worthing, West Sussex.

  4.
I disagee, this book is a complete load af sh*te, total waste of £20 sterling completely overhyped
I disagree with that. I have had the Bass Bible for 10 years and find it a constant source of inspiration. It has basslines from rock through soul and funk, to latin, a whole chapter on African basslines and much more. Not a tutor book or a theory book but full of great lines in all styles.
