Hey man, i REALLY dont know, im only really looking for Trades, but ive had several PM's from people asking how much etc, so i spose i could open this to Sale now...

I really havnt got a clue how much its worth, i bought it when i bought my old Fender Bassman, the shop did me a good deal on it then, i paid £300 for it then, so i dunno, offer me....
Nice, I like yes!!
2. [s]Right, Bought this bass about a year ago (maybe more) Its a REALLY lovely bass, great tone, plays like a dream...

...Problem is FOR ME is its short scale and im 6'4 and around 23 stone, using this bass, i look like George Formby!

Check out the pics, the colour is GORGEOUS, the photos really doesnt do it justice, its very much a deep wine red...

Please post ANY Questions, and i will do my best to tell you, i dont know alot about it, as ive searched over the net and ive NEVER seen this bass before...

In regards to what im interested in Trade wise, Lemmie know what youve got....? I would quite like an acoustic as mine is on its way out!

As for price, i HAVNT a clue, please offer me something!

Cheers for checking this out :)[/s]

NOW TRADED, THANKS ALL!!

3. Heres the deal, just bought a very nice Marshall head, the High input WORKS, the Low DOESNT, cant see any input problem, and i dont really have the time to take it to the repair shop...

My bass (Fender Aerodyne) is a passive, so i always (on my Ashdown combo/both high and low too) just plug it into the Low input, is this the right thing to do? I always thought that the High was for Active Basses, and the Low was for Passive...

Am i wrong?

If so, can i plug my Fender into the High input on the Marshall head, and itll sound good without it ruining it?

Any advice on this subject would be GREAT

Thanks

Darby.

4. Jesus, i keep seing this, i WILL be buying another Aerodyne in the next month or so to 'Custom Up', i really hope this is still available!

Good luck with the sale bub!

Darbs,

5. Hey Y'all...

Right, i have a Black Fender Aerodyne, the Mrs said i can have ANOTHER Bass, but one that i can use as a good main or good spare for stage...

....so i decided i want another Aerodyne, due to the fact I THINK theyre amazing...

HOWEVER, OBVIOUSLY i dont want it in black...

What im after is the TOTAL reverse, i want it in White with Black Binding.

Now.....Where can i get that done?

Any ideas? Ive sent an email to Simms, dont really know of anywhere else...

Ideas? PLEASE?

Cheers,

Darby.

6. Me and My Mrs are waiting for our Mortage to come through...

IF this is still for sale when it comes through, im DEFINATLY Buying it from you mate.

I already own one, they are an amazing Bass, i was trying to think what Bass i would like a Spare for on stage....I cant think of anything id rather have than what i already have!

I will, however, probably have a custom paint job done to it, so its White with Black Binding!

Cheers

Darby.

7. Problem with Terry was that he got f***ed with a contract, which meant he couldnt release anything in the UK (for a while). However, SOME of his songs got reconised, such as Brave Awakening and Seed of Memory which were featured in Rob Zombies "Devils Rejects" Film. Also Superlungs was a very popular song around the time of release.

Should be an amazing night...

"There are only three things happening in London: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Terry Reid.' Aretha Franklin circa 1968"

For those who dont know who Terry Reid is:

And as the Poster States, my band, Second Hand Blues, are Supporting, a truely amazing night!

Regards,

Darby.

9. LOL, Been on here for over a year, and i never look at this part of the Forum, First time i do....i see this!

As you can guess from my name, BIT of a fan lol.

Tips for REALLY good Rammstein songs to learn and NAIL (BASS WISE) are:

Seemann (Listen to Live Aus Berlin for great version)
Asche zu Asche (Listen to Live Aus Berlin for great version)
Zwitter
Adios
Moskau (listen to Völkerball for great version)
Morgenstern (listen to Völkerball for great version)
Engel

Overall, Rammstein arnt overall complicated to play on bass with exeption to Seemann and Asche.

In regards to Live shows, i think there is DEFINATLY a market for it in the UK, as Rammstein dont play these parts much.

The BEST Rammstein Tribute i know are a band called FeuerEngel (www.feuerengel.de) They go ALL out, and i think to be a successful Rammstein Tribute you really do need the use of Pyros as that IS Rammstein. If you was to do a Metallica Tribute, you would just need to get the songs nailed and get the attitude in place, however, because Rammstein are a LIVE BAND, (very much like Kiss), theyre MUCH harder pull off, and therefore you would need the Pyro's, Outfits, Staging, Lighting etc etc etc etc etc......

Rammstein are MUCH more than just a band who play songs off of the albums.....Theyre Kiss without the Make Up - They are a Show.

Good Luck!

Cheers,

Darby.

10. I had already thought about getting the Boss CS-3, Heard some awesomee stuff about it...

..HOWEVER never heard about it being too noisy....in what sence is it too noisy?

Love the idea of the Mod, however, if i was to do it, id totally f..Muck it up and probably turn it into a TOASTER!!!

Has anyone got any opinions on the Boss CS-3?

Cheers,

Darbs.
