  1. Hello wonderful people :)) I'm still browsing around for a new bass and the ESP LTD b-204fm really caught my eye. Anybody in here with experience? Is it good or bad? Does it have a certain style/sound or can it be versatile? I was also looking at the Cort c4h or b series, but I really like the Ltd design and finish better Thanks in advance :))
  2. It would seem more expensive... As you can see I'm a bit of a noob at this Its still out of my price range though ://
  3. That I believe. For now I think I'll stick with one a little cheaper like some mentioned above, but thanks anyway. I've definitely thought of buying one, one day :))
  4. That looks damn good :DD It's getting more and more difficult to choose with all these good suggestions, but I really appreciate it! :DD
  5. I was thinking of an SR as well, but I fell like (for my budget) that it sounds a bit weird. Idk what it is, or if it's just me, but i like the sound (and looks :DD) of the higher end SR's better. I tried one (SR 300e) the other day and no doubt its nice to play but I just didn't feel the sound. But when I get a bigger budget I will definitely get an SR :))
  6. Thanks for the great advice :DD Will definitely check it out and possibly try it out first, if I can find it anywhere... Any other bass you could recommend in that price range??
  7. I'm looking around for a new bass and came across this. I think it looks amazing and from what I can find of demos, it sounds good as well. Though I've seen some bad reviews too... I dont know what to think. Anyone who has experience with this particular bass or someone who can confirm the bad reviews? I was looking at a trbx304 from Yamaha as well, and wanted to know if they are comparable and in that case which might be better Im also open for new suggestions on basses in that price range and style :))
  8. Thanks to all for the great advice :))
  9. I definetly will, but there's sadly not many shops around. Most of the ones i've been to are very small and have a little selection of basses and often not the type im looking for but there is still somewhere I haven't been yet so I'm not losing Hope :))
  10. I will definetly check it out and thanks for the advise
  11. Hello! I'm new to this community and I've never tried this before. Im kinda new to bass as well (been playing for two years very on and off on a very crappy bass!). I would like some good tips on how to upgrade my gear and get better but I'm a bit of a noob tbh. First of all I was looking forwards to buying a new bass. I was thinking something like an Ibanez sr300 or an Yamaha trbx300 or 500, since they are relatively cheap and good quality and very all around in sound and tone (from what I've heard and seen on the internet that is) so I can explore a style that I prefer and I just really like the design of those models (I'm a design student so aesthetics matters as well, at least for me) Anyway, I was wondering which experiences people had in here and perhaps some advise for a (basically) beginner :))
