  1. Both sold.

I don't play as much these days so this rig needs a new home , and stage

CAB - Best investment I've ever made. USA made, (Phoenix Arizona ) Light as hell, (you can literally throw the thing into your boot with one hand) punchy, sharp, solid as a rock and in full working order. Only cosmetic scuffs/scratches.
Its 4ohms so it will draw the full wattage from your head. The cab is 600w.

HEAD - pics uploading tonight.  Full working order.  (the usual scratches on the chassis)  Loud as hell. Comes with padded laptop bag  (fits perfect!)

    £650 the pair

    £350 per item

    Stockport based, willing to ship

    Cheers

  2. I had a Fame baphomet 4. This "Warwick" comparison is basically because of the curves and shape of the horns and stuff, but its based on the Mayones basses (which is the same factory the FAME stuff comes from)

Anyway, the one I got was really heavy, it must have been mahogony. And the neck felt a bit cumbersome. Couldnt tell you about the tone cos didnt get chance to crank it - I sent it back but glad I tried it, cos they look the biz.

  3. PRICE DROP

    *£900

    Hi guys

I'm looking for takers on my Eve Iona 4. Handmade in scotland.

Absolutely amazing bass, but i'm totally on my arse and need some cash. Gutted :(

Never gigged. Just sat in studio.

Includes Heavy duty gig bag that came with the purchase. Authenticity certificate / bits and bobs

This is a hand made bass from Scotland. Doug certainly knows what he's doing.

    - Sapele neck / Wenge fingerboard
    - Eve humbucker and neck jazz pickups (series / parallel push pull)
    - Ash body
    - Brass adjustable nut
    - Really smooth action and nice thin neck

    Cheers

  4. If it has previously worked for you then that would rule out incorrect wiring. Like the previous replies have stated, the most common is dry joints (old solder) , or even a "short"...In my years as a guitar tech the amount of times I've seen this, where the pot has twisted inside the cavity and the lugs are pressing against the wood making it "short out" Have a look out for that.

The EQ pots are wired to a snap panel, so check the connector isnt half hanging out too (its a little white plastic clip)

There is an outside chance that the previous owner has changed the wiring in error.

    Here is a schematic

    Good luck
