It’s a wonderful bass and I was genuinely amazed at the quality of it when I got it. Sadly, I just can’t do fretless (and I spent almost £1500 on a Shuker too, but don’t tell anyone).

Trade wise I’m less about electric bass but I’d dearly love a Helix pedal or anything DB related!

Do you mean you have a Shuker fretless aswell? My wife has two Shukers, and I want a Shuker fretless!

  2. I’ve just bought one!

I wanted to try out a six string, with fanned frets. Got it at Dawson’s in Reading. ( bit like PMT’s ) Good store, got the bass down from Manchester just so I could try it. The one that they had has got really good wood on it, and plays very well, so I bought it. Getting on with it ok. I’m only a “home” player, and like playing bass chords, and more than just rhythm!

  5. Hi,

I’m very interested in buying your mini bass. Slight dilemma, we are going to the Norfolk showground on Fri 2nd of Nov’, coming back, (we live on the south coast) Mon/Tues. It would be great to pick it up on our way through if that would be possible. I would prefer to pick it up rather than courier it. Are you desperate to sell, or could you hold it for me?

    Thanks, Mike.

  6. I’m now working on fitting leds to two more of our basses. I’m going to use a “project “ bass first, then if that works, I’ll convert my wife’s Aerodyne. We’ve tried the luminous dots, but they need a lot of charging to last a gig, even after a boost with the uv torch. I’ll take photos, and try to keep a up date of progress.

    Mike.

  7. I’ve had the same problem with my new Tender Octaver, very noisy when linked to other pedals. I have a Caline power supply as in the last link, with my other Mooer’s Linked to it, as soon as you connect the Octaver, loads of noise. I now use it with a separate single power supply. No props now.

  8. Hi all,

new to the forum, so “signing” in. My wife has been learning bass for a few years now, and has joined her works band. I liked the look of a Stagg fretless, bought one, then decided I’d better learn how to play! We both have now built up quite a collection. My wife normally plays a Fender Aerodyne, my “go to” bass is a Vintage 940 FL.
