I’m currently looking around for a new head and cab and would appreciate some advice. Now 67 years young carrying big cabs or heavy combos are days gone by. I play in acovers band 70’s rock, Santana, Steely Dan etc. My main playing is at home now, but need the kit to be light for rehearsals and gigs( only small venues). I have listened to the Reidmar 470 on YouTube and it sounds pretty good, any comments welcome and just come across Barefaced bass speakers. All suggestions welcome.

Hello, I’ve been playing bass for over 50 years and still play in a covers band in Cyprus. I have a Fender Precision Select, Musicman Stingray 4 HH and an Ibanez Prestige 5 string. I am currently looking for a new amp and cabinet as my current Hartke combo is getting a bit heavy to lug around, which is what bought me to your site.
