Owned from new, purchased from David at cotswold bass guitars approx 6 months ago, hardly used as this was my foray into 5 string playing. I had it re strung by John Shuker last month from low E to top C and set up with a new nut being fitted to accommodate the new stringing plus new strings. The original  nut B to E is included if you ever wished to revert back to the standard 5 stringing.Bass is mint, as new, not a mark on it

This is another fine example of Jon Shuker’s exceptional craftsmanship. This brand new 34 inch scale 5 string Horn bass features a White Ash body with a Flamed Male drop top and matching headstock. The 5 piece neck is made of Maple and Wenge with a 2 way truss rod plus carbon fibre reinforcement and faced with a Ziricote fingerboard with 24 stainless steel medium frets. Delano J5 pickups are linked to an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp with active/passive functionality. As you would expect from a Shuker bass, it is beautifully set up with a low action and plays and sounds superb. The bass is supplied in a Shuker hard case.

A Jon Shuker Jazz bass hand made in England in 2005 in immaculate condition. Specs are 34" 20 medium fret maple neck/board with a two way truss rod and carbon fibre reinforcement, bone nut, and black blocks and markers. Tuners and bridge are gotoh, pups are Lowinder with villex passive control system. The body is swamp ash with a gloss finish (neck has a poly lacquer finish). Complete with a Shuker branded Hiscox. Weight is about 4.26Kg

has just been to John’s workshop to have new nut fitted with new strings now strung E to top C and set up. The original nut Botton B to top G is included
