I would say, pretty much without hesitation, that any BadAss bridge would fit any Fender Jazz or Precision, so long as it has a standard five hole fixing. Which is pretty much every Jazz and Precision. P
I'm asking because the bridge on the new Fenders has only three holes and I'm not sure it will fit.
 2.
Dude, just change all the hardware on the fender to black, it was what i was planning before i had to let it go! Would look awesome!
Do you know if it will fit on the new Fender basses?
 3.
PM sent...
...aaaaaaand, back to you.
 4. I'm selling my Ampeg SVT-610 cabinet. It's in perfect working order and excellent condition, a few minor scratches here and there but nothing really important...A great sounding cab, very powerful and very easy to move around. Pics here: Price? £425
 5.
The cheaper of the 2 zoom's is good, my drummer and housemate has one, he has recorded us at practice a few times and I am always impressed with the recording, it picks up bass well, which I think is often lacking on these kind of things. http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...cfm?prodid=1916
Yes, the H2 it's great, good quality recordings and very, very easy to use. I use it to record the band when we work on new songs and the result is very good. +1
 6. Not sure if it's gonna help or confuse you even more but here you have a pickup comparison thread from Talkbass: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91384 I'm about to replace the pickups on my Geddy Lee and I was also thinking Dimarzio Model J but I really don't like the look of the adjustable pole pieces. I've just checked their website and they seem to have change that option, the adjustable poles I mean, and now they look as any other jazz pickup, is that for real or just they've got the wrong picture?

Enjoy
I'm already loving it and can't wait to have a play... next day delivery by 10am so tomorrow morning it's here!
 9.
Thanks to all, bass now sold and will be southbound tomorrow.
Yes, it's coming home guys, I can't wait!
Someone stole my bass
Ups, sorry
 10.
How are you guys powering the pedal? The power adaptor Sadowsky sell, battery, diago power supply or other power bank type unit?
I have a Dunlop DC Brick on my board and it did the job really well.
 11. Bought a Sansmap VT Bass from Rich and I'll say it again, he's a great guy and a pleasure to deal with. Cheers man

 14. If it was a maple fretboard I'd take it from you but not very keen on dark wood ones. Anyway, have a bump on me... Sadowskys, great basses...Good luck with the sale.
 15.
Preston Lancs Pic as requested, not a problem. Cheers Cameron
Possible silly question but what's that square mark on the back of the body?
 16. Have a look on this post on pickups comparison from Talkbass...I think it will help you, if not confuse you even more with your choice: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91384
 17.
Can anyone tell me if the only place to get the Sadowsky preamp/DI pedal is direct from Sadowsky or is there a company in the UK that imports them?
The Gallery sell them, drop them a line and check if they've got it in stock: http://www.thebassgallery.com/sadowypre.html
 18.
Garageband & an old tascam US-122 on my MacBook beats my stand-alone Boss BR-1180 HDD recorder hands down for ease of use & flexibility.
+1... Exactly. Simple, easy and chap, what's else can you ask for? If it's of any interest to you: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=38159&hl=
 19.
... I'd love to find a power supply that has an 18v output capability (for the Blow Torch, which the DC brick has)) AND has isolated outputs to deal with the reverse polarity of the Compulator (if I use the DC Brick, it shorts out the other outputs), then I'd get one of those. For now, the Compulator runs on batteries.
I had the same issue with the Compulator and people on Talkbass said they didn't have any problems powering the Compulator with the DC Brick using the 18v cables supplied by Dunlop. I tried and I haven't had any problems at all, it works fine for me...and many other people.
