I have a behringer BX300 amp. One 2 by 10" cab and one 14" cab. I know they can be unreliable, but my problem is with the sound. Way, way too much sub and little clarity. Controls on the amp primitive. Would it be worth getting a compressor or EQ pedal to fine tune my sound?

Hi, I've just ordered a Dean EAB fretless acoustic bass, which I know only has a strap button located at the bottom. Should I try and use a mega-long strap attached at the rear of the nut, or should I add a new strap button somewhere else - not sure a bout correct terminology, the heel? Has anybody done this? Any ideas welcome Cheers
