  2. Hi looking for a nice quality practice and difficult to listen to and match with my new Peavey Cirrus bxp but any view on shortlist below would be appreciated: All in the 20w, single 8" speaker range Ampeg 108v2 Gender rumble 15 Ibanez P20 Promethean G&K MB108 Many thanks
  3. Got the cirrus a few days now....mightly impressed. Neck is nice...dont notice the 35 scale to be honest
  4. Settled on the Cirrus bxp as don't come up that often so itch needs scratching Any thought on a practice amp that will make me sound like John Taylor? 😬
  5. Washburn Taurus T24 was another on my short list
  6. Just realised the cirrus is a 35in also....on paper the Ibanez looks interesting slightly thinner and 34 scale
  7. Hi all, Newbie here wanted some advise as used to play in various bands etc from early teens to early 20's Looking to pick up a bass for fun having played various acoustics and nylon guitars Don't want to spend a lot and nothing serious just something that plays great and doesn't beat you up! Back in the day 5/6 stings weren't something that I got into...owned all the Westone thunders which were super heavy, precision and jazz, various Aria basses and ended up on an Aria fretless from memory Looking for a light flexible, easy neck used. Don't know where to start but looking at the Peavy Cirrus bxp and Ibanex SR serious Ideally £2-300 Any thoughts? Cheers
