please take a photo of your Alpher pickup screws - I suspect they solved this problem for you :)
The Alpher's have never been an issue and have Allen Key screws. Other basses I've had in part Ex to sell on are the problem. Over the last few years I must of had at least 15 pass through my hands with stripped screws. Even neck screws too.

2. Every bass I seem to come across pre owned that I take in part Ex/trade always seems to have stripped pickup screws.

What is it with people and not using the right size screwdriver? Is it hard? What's the point in being lazy and ruining something then to just trade it off and make it someone else's problem?

Sorry for the rant but this is so dam frustrating!!

So sick of having to sort this problem and invest in new pickup screws every time I do a bass up to sell on. Not to mention they'r a pain in the A to get out in the first place!

Anyone else notice the lack of care taken with preowned basses they happen to come by?

3. Will take a trade for an

Aguilar Chorusauras or a Tonehammer Preamp + cash my way

Or straight trade for a Lakland Decade/Darryl Jones

Any ideas how old this is, and what pickup set it has?

It has a Lindy Fralin pickup, I think it's a 2010, not sure

Think the neck on my Skyline Decade is the same. Very slightly more substantial than a jazz neck. Same nut width.

A decade you say? How lovely 😏

Is the neck a J or P?
It's a nice middle ground. I've played Jazz basses with similar necks and P basses with similar also. I wouldn't say it's as narrow as a Jazz and I wouldn't say it's a thick as a bog standard P. I'd say it's a pretty comfortable half way between.

7. Received in a part exchange. After a chat with the Mrs, decided it's not my cuppa tea.

Beautiful example of Laklands take on a P bass in a brilliant slightly sparkley candy apple red.

Lindy Fralin pickup.
Maple neck.
Rosewood board with blocks
Hipshot tuners

One chip in finish which is pictured.

Comes with a spare white pickguard.
