  1. Thank you for all the comments. For anyone interested in a great Vigier Arpege III 6 strings, please check the link attached below (great seller). http://basschat.co.uk/topic/294477-vigier-arpege-iii-6-serial-number-002/ Best regards to everybody.
  2. This bass is serial number 002 from 1990 and only 7 Vigier Arpege 6 strings were made on that year (please check this information in the link attached below). http://188.130.104.14/sites/medias/pdf/12.pdf This is a great bass (Arpege is the top model from Vigier) from the best series ever made from Vigier (the series III which is neck-through and not bolt-on, like it's now Vigier series IV) and in 6 strings which are not avalaible in their catalogue now. If have you ever dreamed with a bass that no needs truss-rod adjustment, with a neck that is stiff under humidity changes and with independent eq controls (bass, mid and treble) on each pickup, you've got it here at a very nice price. It is impossible to find another bass that cut in the mix as much as this bass does for this price. Very good luck with the sale.
  3. Hi. The bass is located in Barcelona (country Spain). Thank you for your interest.
  4. Get a free bump from me my friend. Mucha suerte con la venta y saludos.
  5. Lencho is great seller you can absolutely trust in him and deal with confidence.
  6. By the way, the serial number of this bass is 1147 (see picture attached below). Thank you for watching.
  7. Please take as reference the price in Euro (1525€) because the pound is too volatile. Thanks to all.
  8. Thank you for all the compliments and contributions. As Wright/Watt said, these basses have one of the easiest profile necks to play. The specs of the neck are repeated, just if someone wants to compare with oder basses. NECK: neck through body, featuring the 10/90 Neck System™ (10% carbon with 90% naturally dried and aged maple wood). Width of neck at nut: 40 mm/1.57" Width of neck at last fret: 56,4mm / 14.32" Depth of neck at first fret: 19,5mm / .76" Depth of neck at 12th fret: 23mm / .90" String spacing at nut: 31,5 mm / 1.24" String spacing at bridge: 53 mm / 2.125" Action as supplied at 12th fret, treble: 1.8 mm / .0709" Action as supplied at 12th fret, bass: 2.3mm / .0906" This narrow and thin neck in conjunction with a low weight (3.8Kg = 8.377lb) offers a comfortable instrument to play. These basses are not very often for sale (they are discontinued) and in my opinion (and that is subjective) the Vigier series III are the best built (neck-through-body) and the better sounding basses (Benedetti pickups with sweepable mid) that Vigier has ever made.
  9. Hi Ikay. - With the sweepable mid control pot you can select the frequencies from 80hz to 5200hz and then with the switch you can do +/-15dB. - The switch has three positions in the middle position doesn't operate the sweepable mid control pot, but you can change the sound with the tone pot or with the pickup pan pot. - The tone pot is a passive tone that operates with the neck pickup and neck+bridge pickup, but it doesn't operate when it's only the neck pickup selected (Vigier designed it on that way), but you can dial more sounds again with the sweepable mid control pot and the +/- 15 dB switch. Hope this helps. In my opinion the bass has a flexible eq for playing many musical genres and offers a distinctive mid that cuts very well in the mix. Thank you for your interest.
