    Yes. Thank you Risk101 for explanation. The B string I use from a D'addario prosteels set is to thick for the Warwick bridge but it doesn't affect with anything. The string is solid and totally playable.

I'm searching for a P-bass sound for my band and I have to leave it. It's a cracking instrument with loads of tone options and it deserves to go to someone who will play it all the time.
