Just bought that 5 string Status from Rob. Nothing but good things to say about my dealings with him. Received it quickly as described, and he even let me have it on approval. Would of course deal with Rob again.

Nice one. Trying to get my hands on as much notation as possible. This forum has been a great help!
Cheers Stevie. I'm only too happy to produce this stuff as long as it is of interest to you guys. Please let me know if there is anything that you need particular help with and I can taylor the sessions accordingly.
I've had a fair bit of time over the holiday to produce this stuff, but as I'm going to be fairly busy in the coming weeks, my production rate will probably slow down a bit.

Its definatley of interest and I look foward to any future sessions you do. Reading practice is what I need so this all is good for me personally -
I'm thinking about a cab change for the covers band....loud classic rock type stuff. LH500 at the moment.
Im sure i've seen quite a few people saying they have had good results with pairing the LH series and a compact. -
thanks for this, Just what I needed!
-
I'd be up for this, can bring bass if you want but im not sure a mexican fender jazz would interest many people, on the other hand my Ibanez EDB 500 is an interesting bass worth trying out maybe.
Look up Jon Caulfield in Cardiff. I taught him in 1946 and he is now a well respected teacher in S. Glamorgan.
Tell him Rob Palmer sent you.
He never told me he was that old!
I have lessons of him also. Great teacher, PM me if you want his number ZeroDown -
I've just got my GCSE result for Music and got full marks in the practical side. Just play a grade 3 piece and play it perfect, there is no way they can not give you full marks if you play everything exactly as it is on the sheet you provide them to show what you are playing.

wish I could like mine, but it just isn't for me.
Paid £99 for it years ago -
Can't say I know of any good venues, but I will hopefully make should this go ahead

I know this is a bit of and old topic
If I run two 8 Ohm cabinets, one each side ill get 225 watts per side meaning 450 all together right?
I think I answered my own question there, but just needed to check as I can't find a definitive answer anywhere as im new to looking at heads & cabs.
Cheers

Check out this band which I now happen to be in!
Its hard to categorize the music as theres a lot of different elements so take a listen and see what you think. I think Urb from this site recently reviewed the album in bass guitar magazine as well.
Basically this is Jase's (from basschat) old band. He decided he wanted to do different things which coincidently you can hear in this sub forum with his new recordings with Dan Glenn. Any how Darran (Singer, guitar, keyboard) decided to act quickly and got BRYAN BELLER to fill in to record the album. I've then come in from there to go out and play the stuff live. Beller is a seriously good player and it is genuinely worth listening to this album from a bass playing point of view to see how he subtly but stylishly fits around everything else going on.

heres an instrumental track from the album not on myspace

Theres 3 tracks from the album on there, check it out and see what you think. Theres also some gig dates up there, so if you do come to one make sure you come and say hello. We've done a few gigs so far including the Prog-bury festival at the Apex and Go Prog fest 10 in Portugal. If there are any other prog bands on here and you need support for a gig just give us a shout i'm sure we could help.

You can buy it from there if you really like it
