  1. here's mine:

    Basses:

Sadowsky Will Lee NYC 4 (rounds)

    Sadowsky Metro MV5 (rounds)

Fender Custom Shop Precision bass Pino Palladino (flats)

    Upright bass

thinking about getting a jazz bass passive (but to be honest it's only because I want to get one, not really because I need one, as the Sadowsky 4 is so great)

    Amp

    Markbass Combo CMP 121P

this is the only amp I got because most of the time the venues I play have an amp for me.

But I m think about getting a cab and a head ( markbass or aguilar, not sure right now)

    Pedals

    Boss OC2

    Boss OC3

    Electro harmonix micro Qtron

    Digitech synth wah envelope filter

    EBS wah one

    mxr Dynacomp

    Ibanez tube screamer

    Avalon U5

I'm no expert, but I think the dearer one is a USA version and the other one is either the Mexican or Japanese version.

I think I read somewhere that Geddy's original had black blocks and binding, but when he had to have the neck replaced he requested the Fender Custom Shop make one with MOP blocks and cream binding.

I think the recent USA standard version more closely resembles the recent Custom Shop version in that they are both cream and pearl.

    Here is my CS....

    The holy trinity!!!!!

  4. just make up your mind, if you can get both!!!
I would say that the pbass, due to it's nature is the "meat and potatoes" bass imo, it's construction makes you wanna play just the bass.
The jazz can do that of course, but it can lead to more solo stuff because of the different possibilities of tone!

Fixed, I've moved it to the 'Share your music' section. Please PM me your bank details so that I may invoice you correctly.

Incidentally, when 'pasting' the Youtube link, edit to remove the 's' from 'https' to have the link properly embedded. Just sayin'.

If you have issues (of any sort...) with a post, yours or anyone else's, the correct course of action is to use the 'Report' button; the Mods will see any message typed using that and will be able to act accordingly; usually very swiftly. B)

    Good evening, TDoB, and ...

Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. There are more than a few here on the Continent (I'm in France, too, hence the '33' and '53'...), so you are far from alone.

Thanks for your welcome! is it alright if I post a video of me playing bass lines to introduce myself?
