2. Hi y'all, I hope you like Cumbia, I did a little bass grooves video based on Cumbia, Because I really like this styles and it changes a little bit from the usual stuff we tend to hear! Hope you'll like it! http://youtu.be/e3FgV7sEiuw
 3. first question, what kind of music do you play the most?
 4.
I'm no expert, but I think the dearer one is a USA version and the other one is either the Mexican or Japanese version. I think I read somewhere that Geddy's original had black blocks and binding, but when he had to have the neck replaced he requested the Fender Custom Shop make one with MOP blocks and cream binding. I think the recent USA standard version more closely resembles the recent Custom Shop version in that they are both cream and pearl. Here is my CS....
The holy trinity!!!!!
 5. just make up your mind, if you can get both!!! I would say that the pbass, due to it's nature is the "meat and potatoes" bass imo, it's construction makes you wanna play just the bass. The jazz can do that of course, but it can lead to more solo stuff because of the different possibilities of tone! http://youtu.be/uGXZ3DQRHGY
 6. Hi bass brothers, I wanted to share a video of my MTD kingtson ZX5, played a groove and a solo, the bass is easy to play and so comfortable! I play with a three finger technique here (borrowed from my good friends Dominique Di Piazza Hope you'll dig it!
 7. Hi bass brothers, Here's a video showing a MIM fender jazz bass, vs a precision reissue 62 mia, played fingerstyle and slaped, in order to hear the way it's find its place in the mix! hope you'll like it and that it will help some newbies that don't know what to choose! http://youtu.be/uGXZ3DQRHGY
 8. Hi bass brothers ,hope y'all good! Here is a video of myself playing a neo soul groove with my MTD ZX5 Listen with headphones or decent speakers if you can!!! Hope you'll like it! http://youtu.be/wXlCsMH5tF0
 9.
Fixed, I've moved it to the 'Share your music' section. Please PM me your bank details so that I may invoice you correctly. Incidentally, when 'pasting' the Youtube link, edit to remove the 's' from 'https' to have the link properly embedded. Just sayin'. If you have issues (of any sort...) with a post, yours or anyone else's, the correct course of action is to use the 'Report' button; the Mods will see any message typed using that and will be able to act accordingly; usually very swiftly.
Thanks a lot for the advice!!!
 10.
lovely dark tone from dark strings. I just love the tone you get from your MTD. You even make the B string sound good.
Thanks bass brother! The strings on the pbass surprised me! And on the MTD it's MTD strings that came with the bass!

 14.
Good evening, TDoB, and ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. There are more than a few here on the Continent (I'm in France, too, hence the '33' and '53'...), so you are far from alone.
Thanks for your welcome! is it alright if I post a video of me playing bass lines to introduce myself?
