+1 have swapped all of my TE gear to Genz Benz, shuttle 6 max plus Neox 212T, have not regretted it for one little bit and this stuff is so lightweight.

Mosley violins in mosley, yes really, are excellent. Rebuild my db from a pile of broken wood and some strings, highly recommend them.

Quite straight forward IMO.

Any shared eqpt everyone has equal dibs.

If I choose to leave the band, I forgo my share. If I'm fired, I'm paid my share less depreciation.

Did this when I left my old band, didn't think it was right for the band to pay me, when it was totally my choice to leave. If you get an agreement in place before spending it should be really straight forward.

Generally realtes to the total power output, ie a 4x10 320w cab would have each speaker rated at about 80w

I've had problems selling amps/cabs (admittedly heavy weight stuff) in addition a T-Bird and a Fender Precision. The cabs etc went for a price a lot lower than I expected and didn't shift on here at all, only on eBay where I'm still paying the fees

I'm also surprised when people selling stuff seem to make their life hard by keep on changing their minds etc.

It has been an uphill struggle this year IMO. Still thankfully I've nothing else substantial to sell so I can sit tight until things pick up a bit.

I rather stupidly had my Mex Jazz defretted when I took my venture into the fretless world. Didn't last long it has to be said.
I'm consdiering havig it refretted, plus the neck will need redressing I guess.

As an alternative does anyone have an idea how much a genuine Mexican Fender Neck would cost?

It may be more cost effective to go down that route rather than have a refret etc??

Spend a day visiting Mark at Bass Direct in Warwick, sure he can sort you out one way or t'other

I only had some brief dealings with Si, while he was trying to help find a dep for some people he knew in Cardiff. He was trying as hard as he could for no real gain for himself, guess that summed the guy up, selfless.

This is truely sad and I guess this place won't be the same again.

JP bought my Natural T-bird from me.

The sale was easy, and the communication was spot on, he made it clear what he could do and when he could do it and stuck to it.

Although he's new on here, I have no hesitation in recommending him to deal with.

Don't forget I've got first dibs on that bass should you ever decide to sell, and we'll catch a beer next time Swindon play Barnsley.

If they sold you the product and took your money, the deal is done, if they can't deliver promptly tough sh*te on them!!

I'm sure they still have the right of refusal to sell or something but there's no way I'd pay the extra £10, you've acted in total good faith.

Stumbled across Steve while buying an icolor 4 off of someone else, he mentioned he had one for sale too............so I bought his aswell

Light unit is in great nick (as promised) and arrived safe and sound.

I would have no hesitation in buying or selling to Steve again in the future, really easy guy to deal with and even sent the the lights BEFORE I had paid for them and would not accept payment until I was happy.

Top stuff this and what transactions should be like on here.....!

Have just taken delivery of my Shuttle 6.0 12T combo. Now sitting on top of my 2 x 10 cab. Also have the shuttle 6.0 max and the Neox 2 x 12 as my main rig, so my thoughts are

Pros
Great tone and sound
Really loud
Easy to carry
Transparent sound, each bass has it's own discrete tone

Cons
Ive spent too much cash
The shuttle max is almost too flexible with the 2 channels and the extra eq settings

Can't recommend this kit highly enough, I was sad to see my Trace kit go, but have no regrets.....!
