Time to revive a dead thread. This is still for sale.
Make me an offer ladies and gents, I'm in need of any cash I can get with the broke student life hitting harder than expected.
-
If I can make it then I will. Its a big if at the minute with me starting Uni, having exams that week and also now having no car.
Will give petrol money to anyone that can pick me up from Castle Bromwich.

Harley Benton TE52NA up for sale. Awesome Tele style guitar for not much money. Specs are on the Thomann website, but we should all know by now the quality of these Bentons.
Currently strung with D'addario 10s and is in awesome condition, barring a wobbly output jack. It will never fall out, but probably needs the nut tightening the jack to the plate. Speaking of the jack plate, one of the screws is missing from it, and it has been since I got it. Doesnt affect anything and a replacement screw is easy enough to find if you need it. Recently had a bash at setting it up myself. It's not perfectly set up as I am a bit inexperienced in it, but it plays pretty good none the less.
More pictures are available on request.
£90 delivered anywhere in the UK.
Selling as I have just took ownership (or re-ownership) of my Strat. Will trade or part ex (cash in your direction) for anything with humbuckers (Les Paul style, SG, 335, PRS SE etc) or P90s (Epi Casino, similar). Hit me up.

The first ever Rick I played was a 4003 in Walnut. It was perfectly set up and strung with Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats. Sounded incredible and played even better. I was so very tempted to finance the £1450 price tag but had to take a phone call so put it back on the stand in PMT and left it.
Went back the following week and it had gone. No Rick or any bass for that matter has ever played better or felt better to me since that one. Oh how I wish i would've just pulled the trigger that day.

that looks different. Going to be watching the refurb with great interest.
Happy NBD Paul!!!

Up for sale is my Ashdown Vintage 12 75w Amp. Loaded with 12" speaker and with apptek technology to load in different amp voices and effects from an aux cable and a smartphone.
Simply don't have the space for this and not playing bass all too much right now. Has slight damage to the rubber on the handle (which I can send pictures of), but doesn't affect anything. Handle itself is still going strong.
Plenty loud enough for practice sessions, and has a DI out too if you wanted to gig with it.
Here's what Ashdown say about it - https://ashdownmusic.com/products/aaa-vintage-12
Pics available on via Imgur - https://imgur.com/a/Rt59Vu0,Tried to picture the handle thing - basically the rubber on the handle can come out of the metal mounts but can just be tucked back in. The metallic bar inside the handle is unaffected and the rubber is just for comfort and still stays on despite the sides flapping out.
Asking for just £40 collected from B36 Birmingham - will not post as I doubt it would be worth it for anyone given the weight vs price.
For trades, any guitar pedals you may have. Especially wah, a tubescreamer or fuzz.

Great day out and the presentations were great. Andy made the veneering look straightforward enough that I'm now looking for an unfinished body to have a go myself.
Lovely to see you all, thanks Si for organizing 👍🏻

Hmmm - it's a 2-hour drive for me, but I might make a call on the day as to whether to go.
It'd be good to see the Shafty again; sadly my Hondo II faker isn't yet operational, but I might bring along a couple of other P & J builds and maybe my '78 Ric restoration.
I'm always on the lookout for parts if anybody has surplus.
So I'm a maybe...
Come on Paul, theres CAKE!!!!

Hi guys,
Up for sale is my Blackstar ID Core Beam. I bought it from this parish a month ago for the same price as I am listing it for. I bought it as I needed both a guitar amp and a bass amp in one package, but now I have both a guitar amp and a bass amp seperately and need the quids to make up for my GAS habits.
20w of solid state amp with 6 guitar voicings, 2 bass, 2 acoustic and 2 acoustic simulator voices. Plus tons of inbuilt effects, all in a small form factor that is plenty loud enough for practice. Also has inbuilt Bluetooth and works great for streaming spotify tracks to as it doesnt colour your bluetooth audio like some amps do.
Heres what Blackstar have to say about it: https://www.blackstaramps.com/uk/products/idcore-beam
£130 delivered anywhere in the UK, or £120 collected from B36 Birmingham.

Couple of pedals I don't use any more and would rather have the cash.
First up is a EHX Bass Big Muff Pi. Excellent condition, used maybe 2 or 3 times out of the house. Comes with box and manual. £35 delivered in the UK
Second is an Eden Bass Chorus. Bought it on a whim but don't think I've actually ever used it for anything. Going for £35 delivered, again in original box and with a 15V power supply.
Can send pictures on request.

I will bring my Shaftesbury faker too. I want to A/B them if possible for my own amusement as much as anything.

I like that. Very Moustache esque bridge but looks killer. I was looking at the Epiphone Hummingbird as my first foray into acoustics but this looks equally nice.
Happy NGD!

Si600 - Nothing. You've already seen all my stuff and if the weather is nice I want to get the bike out
2. Norris - Ampeg BA-108 and Yamaha TRBX305
3. SpondonBassed - Pitbull IB5 (bass built from kit) if I can blag a lift and return for Enderby
4. Andyjr1515 - Kert's Camphor Singlecut; Pete's EB-3 tribute; Pete's Piccolo Bass
5. Jabba_the_gut - Some self build basses, Blackline 250 head and TC RS112 cabs
6. Harryburke360 - the return of the red jazz bass, should act as a "here's one I made earlier" for Andy. Also probably the Shatesbury Rick 4001 Copy as long as no representative of the Hall family is invited.
-
youve just reminded me Paul, I'll get the machines I have sent to you before the week is out if that is any help?
-
Got me shafty
-
I will bring the red Jazz bass and maybe the Shaftesbury 4001 as long as no one informs Mr Hall.
Currently without an amp so don't know what to do there.

Making me think of Ian Holloway.
So wrong it's frightening.

Had a mare.
Saturday was my birthday, and after several double rum and cokes I found myself in the local boozer listening to a covers band blasting Cocaine by Clapton. Inspired by the guitarists neat playing of what turned out to be the Clapton Custom Shop strat, I ordered a strat copy from Alan George on Facebook - the highest spec one he had. He gave me a tidy discount too due to my drunken ramblings and it being my birthday.
So now I have a bank statement that's not very pretty (more due to buying booze than anything else) and a guitar that historically I can't get good sounds from.
What I may do, seeing as I enjoyed the Clapton strat, is put in the noiseless pickups and midboost TBX stuff, see if I can coax any good noises that way.

Very late to the party here, but I picked up a used Yamaha Pacifica for £50 last summer and it still feels like a bargain. It's got the odd chip or dent, but I've already played it more than the £200 SG Special I got years ago (and then sold years later, barely touched) to learn on. Starting to feel like the controls on a Strat-shape are a bit 'in the way' for me though
Has your TE52 arrived yet? You'll have to share some pics and let us know how you're getting on! I take it you're not learning from scratch?
Yeah she's here, also picked up a Blackstar Beam from someone on here - getting some lovely sounds and having fun learning some of my favourite songs. Going to look into online tuition courses or a rough order of what to learn and google how to do those things.
So far having a great time with it.

Lets not forget the work Andy did to mine - the build thread is somewhere.

well I managed to bag a B stock one for just over £100. Surely can't go wrong with that?

Ashdown Vintage 12 75w Practice Amp - Price drop and trades added
in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Posted · Edited by Harryburke14
Will get pictures sorted out when I am next home from uni.
Will consider trades for a guitar pedals or a little valve practice amp.
Still no option to post this bass amp though, it's just too cumbersome.
