Yes, I have chatted with Thomas too. It's always great to ask a question and get a useful response from 'the man at the top'!
Yes, sure !
I chose my rig following all his anwers, and he was very helpfull, because, I have exactly what I was looking for...

  3.
Maybe it's the translation, but are you saying you find this jazz terrible because I'm an extremely talentless photographer?

I've had my fair share of criticism over the years, but if I am right then that's something special to remember :)
No once again :

I find this Jazz terrible.... ( terrible : 2nd degree, as an earthquake, amazing...etc...ironic you know )

but , may be, it could be due to the photographer... cause I'm not fan of Jazz in general, but I find this one beautiful.....
Do I need to continue ? or is it clear ?

(But my english is not so clear I think.... )

  4.
There was another of his for sale in the Gallery for ages, I think it was a green Sei Jazz with a white lacquered neck. Always quite fancied it :)

    Nice bass Steve.
Do you know why RHT changed so often their basses ?

  5. I use a complete Tecamp Rig, (shown HERE ! )

and with a little comment HERE !

If you need more informations, don't hesitate ! :)

I already had different contacts with Thomas Eich, which is very professional...
I have the good adress to contact him directly if necessary...

  6.
is it the right time to ask that newbies shouldnt be aloud to post threads in the for sales forums yet??? or are the mods still gunna insist its up to the buyer to have the sense not to go into a dodgy deal, despite the person ripped off this time being a long standing member?
I'm not so sure about that, cause now, I'm the newbie, and the victim... by a non newbie member...
I posted in Off topic concerning a trade by now...

So I think it's more related by honnesty than to be a newbie or not, isn't it ?

  7. Sure, you'de have to test to go for 5...
It also depends on what music you play...

I mainly praticed the 5 a lot in a previous band (nearly TOTO cover... even if I'm not a fan...)
and then now, I play mainly rock and 4 is all I need...

(And I can help you by taking your Zon VB at home... :) )

  8.
LOL, shall I put in an order for you while I'm there on Monday, flychris?
No at the moment... but If I decide myself to sell the JP...
Humm, I have the option to wait for a streamline (5s) or maybe a S2 with J pickups...
But I don't know about what kind of wood and/or color I would like...

I need to think again and again about that...
Also the S2 you show in your post froml ths rob's stock is amazing...
