    I've had:

    (Crowded) 2.4 GHz space

    • Smooth-hound - great piece of kit and Chris, the UK manufacturer, provided fantastic customer service e.g. replacing the plastic battery cover which has a tendency to easily break, without charge.
    • Shure GLXD16 - didn't really find much, if any, benefit over the Smooth-hound and it's significantly bulkier / more expensive, so moved it on;
    • Boss WL-20, super compact; frees up space on the pedal board and has generally been really good, but I've been experiencing drop outs (like the OP) recently since we've started using wireless IEMs in the same 2.4 GHz space;

    5.8 GHz

    • Tempted to go for the Shure GLXD16+, but £549 price tag - ouch! That's one expensive "cable" 😅
    • Lekato WS-50 (around £60) - arrived this week, looking forward to finding out if it's decent @tauzero's experience is encouraging!

    Tempted to try a lekato but there are so many versions????

  2. Been looking to get a wireless system but the boss wl-20l I borrowed has the blue light blinking off at times and losing sound which I can't tolerate. Anyone recommend someone 100% for my passive bass ampeg pf800 setup?

  3. I own the BOSS wl-20l as it was appropriate for the active bass I had, I now have a passive bass, should I change the type of Boss?. Some suggestions that my new tone will be brighter, just wondering ( as I haven't tried it in anger yet) if it's TOO  bright. Thanks

    If you are buying new, any amp bought in the EU has a 2 yr warranty. Standard MB is 2 years, can't be sure about TC. If you buy from Thomann you get 3 years.
    Regarding the 2 Amps, I've had a Little Mark for about 6 years now. I've tried just about everything else on the market including the TC RH450 and I'm am a MarkBass man through and through.
    I also play in a function band and it does it for me.
    What is worth trying to find out is if the recent change by MB to put the Class D power amp out of the Big Bang into the LM range has changed the sound. I do not get on with Class D at all, (hence not liking the TC and all other Class D amps), but love the Class A/B of the Little Mark.

    I have the rh450. It's not loud enough. If I went to markbass would I have a louder setup ?. Are the markbass types not class D ?
