I did this to a neck that had a back bow but truss rod not turning any more.  Worked a treat, albeit a bit scary.

I've used this method recently.  Worked a treat..... albeit some creaking noises and general scariness going on when you apply the pressure for the relief 🙂

  2. TC Electronic SpectraCOMP with Tone Print option in excellent condition.  A great compressor if you're like me who doesn't want too much and only wants one knob as I can never understand all the other stuff on other compressors.  Has the option for Tone Prints, which makes it even simpler to use as you can add what you need.  Unboxed and no power adapter as it never came with one.

    Price includes postage.

  3. Still boxed with foam and never used chrome Schaller BM Light 4L for right handed four in-line bass.   They've just been sat about for a while and I don't have anything to pop them.

I've added the schematics as a photo so all measurements are there..... or you can just go to the Schaller website: https://schaller.info/en/bm-light/1027

They are quite rare, and original colour

Made for the Japanese market with that decal and the only other black one I've seen was being played by JJ Burnel back in the early/mid 80s..... that was a Japanese market one too.  Just picked up a BB1024X otherwise I'd be tempted to hit the button 🙂

  5. DB Bass Elbee 10 (1 x 10" 500w) with the angled speaker, 4ohm, c/w DB Bass cover, all in excellent condition.  Sadly, DB Bass are no more, which is a shame considering they made great cabs (I still have my Embee 1210).  The creases in the cover on the pic is just from where it was folded up, but they pop out.  It's finished in a robust textured finish over the wood, so no peeling Tolex.   Cost me £400 new when I bought it, but now excess to requirements as I've gone to EBS Neoline.

Here's some official info on it.....

    Made In UK.
Power: 500w RMS Impedance 4 ohm.

Speakers : 1x10” FaitalPRO (Neodymium) driver.
    Frequency Response: 60Hz-4kHz.
    Connections: 2 x Neutrik Speakon.
    Dimensions: H - 41.5cm  (16.3”), W - 29.5cm (11.6”), D - 34.5cm (13.6”).
    Weight: 10.4kg (22.92 lbs).

Ideal for the gigs where you don't need a monster sized cab.   Having said that it can be hooked up with other 4ohm cabs in series, as I've done through a Palmer Passive Speaker Cab Merger box.... et voila.... 8ohms 🙂

Price includes postage, or if collected I'll knock some off.

  6. Set of Rotosound Nexus black coated, 34" Long Scale, 40-100 in as new condition.  Still boxed, uncut and only opened to have a look at them today.

£20 posted.  As with my other set for sale, just don't like the look of black strings for whatever reason.

  7. Set of DR Black Beauties, 34" Long Scale 45-105, in as new condition.  Still boxed, in their individual envelope things and only opened to have a look at them today.  Never been on a bass so uncut.

Just don't like the look of black strings no matter what they sound like..... very fickle of me 🙂  I have another set that I fitted to a Precision for about ten minutes somewhere.

  8. Bugera Veyron Mosfet BV1001M in great condition c/w original box, packaging and paperwork.  A great amp but selling as I'm selling the cab I had with it and going 'small combo' as it never left the house.  Bought on here last year so only fair I sell it in here first at less than I paid for it.  Very loud I might add and when I did once put it through my gig speakers just to see it sounded great.  Great as a spare or even a main gigging amp.

Postage included in the price but happy to knock off a few quid if collected or dropped off nearby.

  9. Harley Benton MP-4EB in excellent condition (never left the house) which is both active and passive at the pull/push of the volume knob.   Apparently the colour is Lake Blue, which is very similar to the Miami Blue I've seen before on other brands.  I've had this from new and out of the box it needed a good set-up and adjustments here and there with the pickups.  Currently strung with 105-45 Rotosounds and the frets have been levelled off.

Has the truss rod adjustment wheel in the heel of the neck with makes adjusting these easy (why doesn't maker do this).

I bought this as I wanted something with a MM style pickup (usually only use passive P & J pickups), but I'd say it's a great bass as a starter, a spare or for tinkering with.  Looking to fund a new Sire Z-Series so one or two of the Harley Benton's need to go.

Price includes postage but can knock off a few quid if collected.

Still available form Thomann at £255 and here are some specs you'll need to know:

    Body: Alder
Neck: Canadian hard rock 6-ply maple
Fretboard: Macassar ebony c/w white block inlays and bound
    Modern C neck profile
    Lake blue with matching headstock
    Scale: 34"
    Nut width: 39 mm (1.54")
    Fretboard radius: 14"
    22 Medium stainless steel frets

    Zero Fret

Adjustment wheel at heel of neck
    Black TUSQ XL nut
Roswell MFR4 Ferrite humbucker (bridge) pickup & Roswell PM-4 Ferrite single coil (neck) pickup
    Roswell GMA2 active/passive two-band EQ
Controls: Volume control with push/pull active/passive function, balance, treble and bass
    Three-Ply white pearloid W/B/W pickguard
WSC SK4 bridge & chrome hardware
    WSC JB45 machine heads

    Weight: 10.1lb (4.6kg)

  10. Harley Benton JP-45OP (it's a letter 'O', not a zero) in the natural finish and in excellent condition.   All set up with what I think were Rotosound rounds with frets levelled, so good to go.  This is basically a direct copy of the Aria Detroit apparently.

A great bass at a good price either as a starter, a spare or for tinkering with.  I just need to thin the heard so moving on a few of the Harley Bentons.... I seem to have four, plus I'm funding a new bass.

Discontinued and no longer available it seems from Thomann, so here are some specs.....  Ash body, 24 fret roasted maple neck and fingerboard, 40mm nut, passive, 34" scale, 9.5" radius and weighs in at 8.4lb or 3.8kg.  The best feature is the truss rod adjustment wheel popping out after the 24th fret in the heel of the neck making it a doddle to adjust (like in a Sting Ray).

Happy to post and included in the price, but will knock a few quid off if collected.

  11. Wampler Terraform in excellent condition c/w box and paperwork.  No power adapter though as they don't come with one.  A top quality piece of kit as you'd expect from Wampler.

Only selling as it's a bit wasted on me to be honest given I only use a couple of modulation effects, and then only briefly.

Price includes postage, or pick it up and I'll knock a fiver off.  I'll do a reset on it if I can work out how to.
