I'm currently running one of my basses in stereo, alla ric-o-sound. The bridge pickup goes straight into my Orange Terror Bass, and the neck pickup goes through effects into a guitar amp. However, this has become a bit of a pain when it comes to playing live, and I've had the thought of purchasing a Selmer Treble 'n' Bass SV - the idea being I can use the bass channel for the bridge pickup and the guitar input for the neck pickup with effects. Essentially, I want to, if possible, bring my current set up into a one amp system. My initial reaction is that I cannot use two inputs simultaneously, though I don't actually know for sure why. Does anyone have any experience of doing this or know whether it actually would or wouldn't work?

I think it's where the finish has come off a little. Apologies if you're put off by the damage but that's just the reality of a pedal that get's used. If you're after something in perfect nick I'd suggest buying one new. I'm sure a lot of people buying equipment second-hand are aware that things may not be in perfect condition, I chose to state that this is the case since I don't want to be deceptive. I'm sure most gear for sale on this site has some minor superficial damage, at least I have the decency to acknowledge this.

I did say that I'm happy to do paypal as a payment as goods and services as long as fees are covered, which is the ideal scenario for me. I've offered both options as if, for instance, someone came to my home to try out the pedal, they may be see it satisfactory to do a simple bank transfer or Paypal F&F since they have the pedal in front of them and they know it works. It saves them paypal fees. However, if they'd prefer to get me to post it to them, then they can send it as goods and services, including cover for any fees so I get the money i'm after for the pedal. 

I appreciate concern on behalf of buyers who may not be aware of scammers techniques etc, but I do think that it's inappropriate for you to slander an auction where everything is kept transparent. 

For sale is my Vox standard 24, that's been defretted. Set up very recently with Ernie Ball Cobalt flats (sounds like rounds, feels like flats). Condition is good considering it is 39 years old but do be aware that there are dings and dents here and there.

I was hoping that I could keep the option for a mono output as well as a stereo one. Again, similar to the ric-o-sound type wiring where I could have a mono output and a stereo output. 

Hi, I’m hoping to add a stereo output on my Guild B302, alla ric o sound.

Am I right in thinking that I can simply add another wire to the output lugs on each volume pot and wire them up to the two lugs on a stereo jack? Obviously The pickup selector wouldn’t be in use but I can control the blend of each pickup via the volume pots. 

Is there any other considerations I should make? Ie, phase/impedance or anything?

Heavily toured by the previous owner so some light scuffing to the paint work on the sides. Only selling as I just don’t use it much anymore. Comes with the original tin box. Thank you everyone! I got a new nut and removed the old pencil one. Had to file down the slots a fair bit to bring the strings closer to the neck since it’s been defretted. Also had to lower the saddles almost as low as they can go but it’s sounding much better! The dead spots have almost gone, I just need to get a new set of strings then I think we’ll be reet! I’ve alwas struggled setting up fretless’s for some reason - I’m going to spend a bit of time on this one though

Width of nut is precisely 40mm

Back in September I bought a Vox standard bass that had been converted to a fretless. One thing I didn’t realise until it arrived is that the nut had been replaced with none other than a cut down pencil.  Not only that, but the string spacing varies between each string. 

The bass itself is in dire need of a set up, and due to time and money constraints I’ve decided to take this upon myself. The bass has dead spots (notes just seem muted and choked), Mainly between the 7th and 14th frets, mainly on the D and G strings. My first port of call is this makeshift nut. The ‘nut’ is set low to the fingerboard, which in my experience is common with fretless. 

If anyone can recommend anywhere I can get a decent, suitable nut I’d appreciate it. If you don’t think this would cause dead spots I’d be keen to know what could. All google searches I’ve made yield results that are completely circumstantial so I could do with some advice for this particular issue. Below are photos detailing noticeably narrower string spacing between E and A strings. It’s not clear from the other but the nut definitely appears to be a shaped pencil since it has lead running through it.

Hmm If I was in your position I would explore the cheap end of the scale with budget gated fuzz pedals. I’m sure behringer has something in their ever growing catalogue.

Yeah, I've thought about checking out some behringer. And the squealing pig sounds is what I'm after! I thought it was cool how when I turned it on it could go from fuzzy bass to feedback by just muting the strings. 

I’ve been using my friends OBNE Haunt lately as a change from the muff that I normally use. Last night I turned up the fuzz all the way, which sounded great, and when I stopped playing it just squealed with feedback and clanky noise. I’ve recently started a noise rock band (alla Girl Band) and I think it’d be cool to have a fuzz that I could put on just for this kind of sound. However the Haunt is a bit pricey for me, especially considering that I’m only going to be using it for the purpose of making a horrendous racket, which I expect I’d be able to get with a cheaper pedal. Anyone have any recommendations for any pedals that would do this?
